From the point of regulating qi, it can be divided into three parts: Sanyuan Great Kong Xuan, Three in One Four Bureaus, Gankun National Treasure (Longmen Eight Bureaus), Najia nine planets, Zibaifei Palace, Zhoushubazhai, You Nian Gua and Jinsuo Guan Yu.
2. Rational style (also called Zongmiao School)
Based on the theory of eight diagrams and five elements, the theory of eight diagrams and five elements as the basis of life originated in Qin and Han Dynasties and was not a great success until the Song Dynasty. It is quite mysterious, and its popularity is far less extensive than that of Jiangxi School. According to the fact that Yunkaizong lived in Fujian, it was called Fujian School.

Metaphysical geography books include Tian Xin Zheng Yun by Hua Zhanen, Zhi Yao by Zhang Zhongshan, Five Interpretations of Tianyuan, Examples of House Method by Zhu Xulun, Differentiation of Three-dimensional Geography by Ma Taiqing, and Outline of Regulating Qi Method by Shen Shaoxun. Their works "Shen Shi Metaphysics" and "Regional Differentiation" can be said to be the modern ancestral school. His sons Shen Zumian's Four Interpretations of Ancient Geography, Tan Yangyu's New Interpretation of Geographical Rectification, Reuters in the Great Mystery, Experiment in the Great Mystery, You Xuexing's New Case of House Transportation, Eye on the World, Rong Baiyun's Two-room Experiment, Wen Mingyuan's Continued Interpretation of Geographical Rectification, and Kong Zhaosu's Treasure of Confucius.
3. The Toutou School (also known as Jiangxi School) began in Yang Junsong, a native of Jiangxi in the Tang Dynasty. Its theory focuses on observing mountains and rivers, with dragons, caves, sand and water as the four major programs, which have the deepest and widest influence. Since the Qing Dynasty, the Zongmiao School and Jiangxi School have attached equal importance to its theory.
(1) The site selection of building foundation emphasizes the method of Jiangxi, and the physical structure and layout of the building adopt the method of ancestral hall. The factors of yin and yang and five elements occupy a monopoly position. The operation methods such as three links starting, crossing nine planets, changing divination and installing divination in the air are widely used, and making the choice of seeking good fortune and avoiding evil on the geomantic compass has become the core content of physiognomy. In modern times, it has been advocated to use Luan Tou to regulate qi, or Luan Tou to regulate qi, one for two, two for one.

One to nine, that is, the nine planets and metaphysics, that is, the concrete application of the flying principle of the nine planets in the geomantic compass. The theoretical basis is Jiugong Bagua and nine planets's technique, which have been popular since Qin and Han Dynasties.
(2) Impermanence refers to the names of Wuxi and Changzhou in Jiangsu Province. This school is named after Zhang Zhongshan, a famous geographer who lives in Wuxi, Jiangsu. Zheng Xuan's empty vessel geomantic omen originated from Guo Pu in the Eastern Jin Dynasty. Handed down from ancient times, his works include Burial Book, Qingnangjing, etc. He studied under Qiu Yanhan and Yang Junsong in the Tang Dynasty, Chen Tuan and Wu Kecheng in the early Song Dynasty, and then Wu Jinglian. He was a cold and modest lecturer at the end of Yuan Dynasty and the beginning of Ming Dynasty. In the late Ming and early Qing Dynasties, Jiang Dahong studied under Taoist Wu Tianzhu and Wuyi, and later he was followed by Fan Yibin, Zhu Xiaohe, Yin Yibao, Zhang Xinyan and Cai Minshan, and later he was spread to Wuxi in the Qing Dynasty. In modern times, he was followed by Shen Shaoxun, Kong Zhaosu, Tan, Wu, Shen Zumian, You Xuexing, Wang Tingzhi and Zhong Yiming. It took more than a thousand years from the Jin Dynasty to the Qing Dynasty, and it was not until Shen Shaoxun wrote a book that it was made public. (3) The geographical features of the metaphysical space are based on the theories of Heluo, Taiji and Bagua in the Book of Changes, and there are many original innovations in its application, which are quite different from other schools.
(A) the periodicity of time and space. Yuanyun is the soul of metaphysical geography, and its push to the earth is based on twenty years, sixty years and 180. So it is also called ternary metaphysical geography. Metaphysical geography holds that the movement of the earth is periodic, and the landscape and orientation of nature remain unchanged, but the gas flowing between heaven and earth is changing. The ability of this school to reveal the reasons and mysteries of the periodic changes of fortune is beyond the reach of other Feng Shui schools.
(2) Distinguish between good fortune and bad fortune with the stars of Jiugong. The geography of Kong Xuan uses the method of nine palaces approaching the stars to distinguish the ups and downs of mountains and surrounding landscapes. According to the situation, we can see the good or bad luck of stars meeting mountains and stars, so as to judge Ding, Cai, Gui, Xiu, Xian, Fool, Illness, Housing and so on.
(3) Compass is used in different ways. Generally, there are three compasses, the front needle (inner ring) is the site, the middle needle (middle ring) is the human disc, and the sewing needle (outer ring) is the top disc. Sanhe school stands upright with a straight needle, removing sand with a middle needle, and connecting water with a sewing needle. (4) The method of collecting mountains and water is special. The geography of Kong Xuan pays attention to discharging the life and glory of mountain stars to the mountains, and discharging retirement, death and suffocation into the water; Discharge the life and vitality of the stars into the water and retreat, death and suffocation into the mountains. Only in this way can we gather mountains and remove water and enter the zero hall.
(5) Interpretation of anti-yin and complex yin. The geography of Kong Xuan calls the mountain "Yin Fu" when it reaches the stars in the same direction as New Year's Day, and vice versa. It is fashionable to oppose and recite songs in season, but it is disastrous when it is out of season. This phenomenon can only be explained by the theory of metaphysical geography.
(6) The method of distributing gold is special. The popular score of 120 means that each mountain is divided into 5 squares, and 24 mountains have 120 points. The geography of Kong Xuan calls the three squares in the middle of each mountain the next hexagram, and the leftmost and rightmost squares the substitute hexagrams or stars. In usage, divination is very different from substitute divination, which is the pioneering work of metaphysical geography.
