Yuan Tiangang (popularly written as "gangster"? A 635), born in Chengdu, Sichuan, was a Taoist priest in the Tang Dynasty, a metaphysician, astronomer and mathematician in the late Sui and early Tang Dynasties. Legend has it that he is good at "learning from the wind", that is, depending on the wind direction, he can break good or bad luck and never tire of temptation. He is also proficient in facial expressions, six rings and five elements. Sui was the official order, and Tang Wude was the order of Huojing County in Shu County. In the sixth year of Zhenguan, Emperor Taizong heard his name and wrote to North Korea, and was accepted as a think tank. In the eighth year of Zhenguan (634), at his request, Emperor Taizong reinstated his post of Huojing county magistrate and sent him back to his hometown. In the same year, Yuan Tiangang died.
Yuan Tiangang has written many works on physiognomy, gobbledygook and geomantic omen, such as Six People in Xuan Nv for Nine Days, Five Elements of Physiology, Yi Yao, Three Generations of Physiology, Yuan Tiangang Bone Song, Taibai Bureau Zhao and Daitu, but most of them have been lost. He was ordered by Emperor Taizong of Tang Dynasty to co-write the Map of Taibai National Games with his disciples, which is probably a different version of the rumored tuibei map.
