Four Yuefei temples

The four Yue temples are Yuefei Temple in Zhuxian Town, Kaifeng, Yuefei Temple in Tangyin, Anyang, Wang Yue Temple in Xinhui, Guangdong and Yuefei Temple in Hangzhou.

Yuefei Temple in Zhuxian Town, Kaifeng 1

Zhuxian Town is an important battlefield where Yue Fei killed Jin Jun, besieged Tokyo (now Kaifeng) and attacked Huanglongfu, and it is also the place where Yue Fei won 12 gold medals in the imperial court. Later generations built a temple in Zhuxian Town to commemorate Yue Fei, and have been burning incense for hundreds of years.

Zhuxian Town Yuemiao is located on the north side of Yuemiao Street. It was built in the 14th year of Chenghua in Ming Dynasty (1478), the 4th year of Zhengde in Ming Dynasty (1509) and the 17th year of Shunzhi in Qing Dynasty (1660). After several repairs, a large-scale ancient architectural complex has been formed.

Facing the street is a single-eaves, mountain-leaning gatehouse, carved with beams and painted with buildings, dignified and dignified. There is a flat forehead of "Zhongjingyue Temple" hanging on the lintel, and a couplet on the column: In history, Zhong Bing served the country faithfully, gathered rivers and mountains to serve the country and built the Great Wall.

2. Anyang Tangyin Yuefei Temple

Tangyin Yuefei Temple is located in Yuemiao Street, Tangyin County. This is a temple built to show Yue Fei's loyalty to the country. Now it covers an area of 1, 8 100 square meters, which is divided into Yuefei Temple ancient building area and Yuefei memorial area.

The ancient building area of Yuefei Temple was built in the Southern Song Dynasty and rebuilt in the first year of Jingtai in the Ming Dynasty (1450). Later, in the Ming Dynasty, Hongzhi and Zhengde years expanded one after another, and the area continued to expand.

There are more than 100 temples and temples, which are relatively well-preserved ancient buildings in Ming and Qing dynasties. The outline is rectangular, the layout is rigorous, the building is exquisite, the hall is magnificent, the pavilions are beautiful, the cypresses are towering and there are many steles. This is a way for us to commemorate heroes and express patriotic feelings.

3. Wang Yue Temple in Xinhui, Guangdong

Wang Yue Temple is located at the foot of Zhuangshan Mountain in the northwest of Metropolitan Village, Huicheng Street, Xinhui District. It is a place to commemorate Yue Fei, a national hero of past dynasties.

The head gate is a two-story double-eaved building, towering and solemn, with the word "Song Zhongwu Hall" hanging in the middle and towering ancient trees on both sides. In the center of the main hall is a colorful 3.5-meter statue of Yue Fei, dressed in purple embroidered robe and golden armor on his arm, showing the heroic spirit of a military commander.

On the two walls of the temple, four characters are written: "Sincerely serve the country". Entering the garden, there are Lvzu Hall and Guanyin Hall in the north and south. There is a stone statue in front of the temple, with his hands behind his back and kneeling in front of the tomb, which is the mastermind who framed Yue Fei, Qin Gui.

The ancient banyan trees that have surrounded Wang Yue Temple for hundreds of years have added a historical and cultural atmosphere.

4. Yuefei Temple in Hangzhou

Yuefei Temple is located in the northwest corner of West Lake in Hangzhou, opposite to the wind and lotus of Qu Yuan, and is a place to commemorate the national hero Yuefei.

The front door of the Yue Temple is a two-story building with double eaves and lofty solemnity, with a vertical plaque of "Wang Yue Temple" hanging in the middle. Courtyard courtyard, with a tunnel paved with bluestone in the middle and towering old trees on both sides.

There is a horizontal plaque in the middle of the double eaves of the Martyrs Temple in the main hall, which was inscribed by Ye Jianying. In the center of the main hall is a colorful 4.5-meter statue of Yue Fei, dressed in purple embroidered robe and golden armor on his arm, showing the heroic spirit of a military commander.
