The Qing Dynasty was the era when China's ethnic minorities were masters of their own affairs, but before the Qing Dynasty entered the customs, their folk customs were essentially different from those of the Han nationality. Take the mausoleum as an example. Before they became masters of the country, their graves were extremely simple. However, after mastering the state power, their customs will naturally be affected by cultural shocks and will pay attention to many things.
First, Yongzheng sought to usurp the throne in the eyes of everyone now. When it comes to Yongzheng, it is either the prosperity during the reign of Yongzheng or the reason why Yongzheng was able to master the state power. After Yongzheng's death, he was not buried in the same cemetery as his father. It is said that it was related to Yongzheng's possible usurpation of the throne at that time. According to the existing historical data, Kangxi favored fourteen sons at that time, but it was inevitable that Yongzheng eventually became the ruler.
Second, after Yongzheng's death, he had no face to see his father Kangxi. After the death of Kangxi, Yongzheng succeeded to the throne. In order to consolidate his rule, he killed his closest relatives, some were imprisoned and some were killed. It can be said that he killed his brother. Perhaps it was his own practice that made him feel guilty and let him face his father Kangxi after his death.
Third, the feng shui of the Qing Dongling is not good. The places where ancient people were buried after death were also very particular, and they usually looked at Feng Shui. Why Yongzheng didn't choose the Qing Dongling, where his father Kangxi was located, was probably related to the Feng Shui of the Qing Dongling. The Qingling Mausoleum where Yongzheng is located is surrounded by mountains and waters, and its feng shui is very good. He thought he should be left alone after his death, so he thought of finding another place to arrange his funeral.
Anyway, the prosperity brought by Yongzheng is obvious to all through history books, and only he knows where he will be buried after death.
