What do you think of the main compass?
The exact compass is engraved with the Sunday degree of 360 degrees, which is also the Sunday degree representing the twenty-four mountains, which can be inferred. But this method is inevitably more troublesome. Some old compasses didn't carve 360 degrees last week. Therefore, the simple way is to judge from this one hundred and twenty cents. Because there is a circle on the triad or triad compass, each mountain is divided into five squares (that is, 120 minutes). Among these five squares, the middle one has no words, the nearest one (one left and one right) is blank, and the middle two have words. Take Zi Shan on the compass as an example. A circle of small squares appears outside the human disk in the compass. Some of these squares are letters and some are blank. In fact, these are the golden sitting lines of 120, which can be used to judge the positive and negative directions of every figure sitting on the compass mountain in Kong Xuan Feng Shui. For example, among the five squares in Zishan, two squares have the words Bingzi and Gengzi, and the other five squares in Renshan have the words Xinhai and Dinghai. When you find the contents of this circle on the compass, that is, 120 minutes, it is easier to judge the distance of each mountain at 15 degrees. Because every mountain has the same five cells, the range of a mountain is 15 degrees, in other words, each cell accounts for 3 degrees, and five cells are exactly the degrees in the direction of a mountain. Now that there is a method to calculate the distance of each mountain by degrees, there is naturally a method to calculate the range of 9 degrees in the middle of each mountain. As we all know, each mountain range has five small squares, three squares in the middle and * * *, with characters on both sides, each square is 3 degrees, and 3 × 3 = 9 degrees. There are no words on the far left and right sides, which is beyond the range of nine degrees in the middle. When the vertical reticle on the compass presses a word slightly, it has exceeded 9 degrees, that is, it presses on any of the two adjacent squares on the cyclotron, which is called forward direction. If it does not exceed these two squares, it is still positive on the middle three squares. Generally, the vertical reticle on the compass is positive when it is pressed in the middle three squares of Zishan, and the left and right blank squares are pressed in the direction. There is a great difference between the forward direction and the backward direction in Kong Xuan's geomantic omen (the so-called "meeting stars" means matching divination with flying stars in Jiugong and matching stars with yin and yang in the mountains). According to the regulations of Kong Xuan, the forward direction is the next divination, and the forward direction is a substitute for divination. This involves another problem, and I don't need to say more.
