Shatian pomelo, also known as Jinyou (scientific name: Citrus maxima cv. (Burm。 Merr.cv.shatian t.t.yu [1]), commonly known as Yan Gezi and Lu Buzi, is a kind of grapefruit, which originated in Shatian Village, Songshan Town, Rong County, Guangxi, China.

In the forty-second year of Qing Qianlong (1777), Xia Jigang, a native of Shatian Village, presented the famous fruits of his hometown to the emperor for tasting. The emperor likes it very much. He asked the official about the origin of Golden Pomelo, and learned that it was produced in Shatian Village, Rong County, so he gave it the name "Shatian Pomelo", which has since been listed as a tribute, and announced that Shatian Pomelo in the world is a specialty of Rong County and is also famous for Shatian Pomelo.

Shatian pomelo is bigger than other kinds of pomelo, with thick skin and sweet flesh, and has the reputation of "canned natural fruit". 1953 participated in the Leipzig International Expo, which was highly praised by international people and regarded as a rare fruit in China. Participated in the grapefruit quality appraisal in all walks of life, and they are among the best. 1990 the tenth people's congress of rongxian county passed a resolution to designate shatian pomelo as the "county fruit" of rongxian county.
