There are two roads to Wulian Mountain. Cars on the south road can walk more and save energy, while the scenery on the north road is good, but you should climb step by step from the bottom up. You can go up the mountain and along the road from the south road. First, you will see the bright spring. The inscription reads: "Guangming Spring was built in the Tang Dynasty in 6 18 years, with a history of more than 300 years." The spring water is clear and sweet, rich in many minerals. After seeing the Guanyin Cave, which was said to be built in the Tang Dynasty, I bypassed a strange stone shaped like a toad and my eyes lit up. On a vegetable field in the ravine, an ancient and elegant temple with red doors and yellow walls and small eaves of blue tiles flashed out, which looked different. The gate of the temple is small, more than two meters wide, which is relatively rare in general temples. On the yellow courtyard walls on both sides, red squares are painted with the words "Amitabha in the south" written on them, shining in the sun, how magnificent. I came to the door and saw a pair of beautifully carved stone lions, followed by a steep step. Standing in front of the door, looking up, I have arrived at Guangming Temple and Royal Temple. A pair of gold-lettered couplets were posted on both sides of the door, which read: The famous mountains are unparalleled, and the magic is not yet two doors. It seems that the momentum of this temple is really a bit royal.
Climb the stairs and you can enter the door. A spacious courtyard appears in front of you. This is Tianwang Temple. What makes people feel strange is that the decorations of the east and west halls are different. The affiliated hall on the east side has been renovated, and the Buddhist sound in the door is curled up, and the incense fills the air, which seems a bit heavy and agarwood in the temple, while the one on the west side is dilapidated. The carved beams and painted buildings under the eaves are rotten, and the windows are full of dust and dirty. The four pillars in front of the temple have lost the color of paint, and the paint skin has peeled off and become incomplete. The gables are peeling off and crumbling, but the roof tiles are covered with weeds, swaying with the wind, and the yellow grass color is declining in the sun. The mountain temple is built on the mountain, and the mountain temple is integrated. Tianwang Temple in front of the main hall is high on the mountain. Climbing 37 steep steps, I came to the front of the temple and found that the terrain was much higher. Looking back, we can see that the mountain scenery has become open, and mountains, boulders and temples far and near can be seen here. In front of another boulder on the right, it looks like five fingers. It seems that this mountain temple is blessed by two divine hands, and it must be prosperous. Looking back around Tianwang Temple, I found that the door of this temple is more like the outer door of a temple, such as the courtyard in the courtyard. There is also a couplet outside the door: Xiangyun on the top patrols the mountains to protect the three continents, and the treasure in the palm squats down and the demon is safe on all sides. Go through the main hall, bypass the huge Maitreya Buddha and stone Buddha, and above the steps is the Daxiong Hall of the temple. However, this hall is not big, but the width of three rooms. It's an old hall, which is a bit shabby, but the tiles are yellow-green glazed tiles, which looks a lot more imposing.
Come out from the left door of the temple and enjoy the mountain scenery all the way. Looking back, the silhouette of a giant Buddha came into view, which made people secretly surprised. This is the famous Wulian Buddha. Along the path leading to the Giant Buddha, I found that the Buddha statue was very high. The Buddha's body is a mountain, and the Buddha's head is a complete and huge granite at the top of the mountain. The stone Buddha sits upright with his head leaning against the mountain, and his face is meticulous and lifelike, giving people a deep Zen. Its face is smiling but not smiling, and its eyes are kind and generous, which is rare among domestic stone buddhas. I have seen many Buddha statues in the past. Although this Buddha statue is not as high as Leshan Giant Buddha and imposing as Yungang Grottoes, this natural Buddha statue is a miracle. There is a high stone platform and incense burner under the stone Buddha, surrounded by stone carvings and walls, which is obviously a natural hall of great heroes. There are both Buddhist temples given by the royal family and stone buddhas given by heaven. I think this is probably the essence and spirit of Wulian Mountain.
There is a tree-lined path on the right side of the Buddha. From there, you can cross the stone road covered by pine needles. On a boulder, there is an exquisite four-corner stone pavilion called Guanjing Pavilion. The towering boulder under the pavilion may have the care of the Buddha, and people respect it as the "Bodhi Building". Turning to the gazebo, I looked out from the railing and saw the surrounding peaks, forests, pine trees, stones and endless Shan Ye, which opened my eyes. Standing here and looking around, Xiufeng is strange, tall and straight, green and beautiful, a little wild, a little stone forest show, a little Xiangxi. On the sunny Xiufeng, a lot of purple gas is surging, full of vitality, savored carefully, full of fragrance and charming. In the distance, Wanghailou stands tall and straight, and a delicate figure stands on the top of the boulder, adding a bit of style to the sunshine. Standing on the pavilion, looking around, I feel that the sky is high and the clouds are light, which is refreshing.
From Guanqiao Pavilion to the north, there is a pine forest, which is green and attractive against the background of blue sky and white clouds and under the sunshine. Walking on the ridge stone road between the pines and the distant mountains is a bit like climbing the west peak of Huashan Mountain in Xiyue, feeling the high-risk natural environment of this mountain. Go through this road and gradually enter another realm. First, I came to the top of the mountain under a boulder. At this time, there seems to be no way out. As soon as I saw it, the original road was hidden between a narrow stone crack. Bend down, bow your head, hold your breath, carefully drill past, and come to a stopped stone. Under this boulder, it is very dangerous to see the bottom of the cliff. Almost on the edge of this cliff, there is a big stone that is almost inclined and more than two meters high. As dangerous as an egg. This is the pneumatic stone. Visitors can swing back and forth with a gentle push of their hands. Although it seems that it can slide down with a little effort, countless tourists have tried their hand, and it has remained on the top of the mountain for many years, which is amazing. Then sideways through the gap of a boulder, almost crawling under the stone, came to a boulder. The top of this stone is the top of the mountain. We are on the cliff, and below it is the abyss, which looks particularly steep. There is a huge crack in this rock, which divides the stone in two. There are three words engraved on the stone, "Try Sword Stone", and the words "Guan Gong Try Sword" are next to it. It seems that Guan Yunchang, a soldier, tried his sword here and split the boulder in half with his sword. Take a break, then drill back from the passage under the gap and enter the gap. It's a bright day overhead, and it looks very high in a narrow space. This is the scenic spot of "a paradise". With the creation of strange stones, Wulian Mountain is not only dangerous, but also secluded. Iron Hutong is one of the scenes. Tiehutong is a downhill road at the top of the mountain. It looks like Tian Yun Road, as steep as Eighteen Plates. On both sides of the iron wall, pines and cypresses hang down, the breeze blows gently, and the valleys are deep. All the way down, in the clouds and fog, my clothes are fluttering and my mind is like a fairy. When I got here, I really realized the faint feeling of Wulian Mountain. Out of Tiehutong, there is a stone shining on the top of the mountain, which looks like a crocodile. There are still two stones on the crocodile's long mouth, as if someone were preventing it from opening its mouth to hurt people. A few more steps forward, the boulder looks like an elephant, with its nose up and its huge ears shaking. Within a few steps, I jumped out of a cave like a lion. What's more, there is a secluded water curtain cave hidden in this humble place. The water curtain is pouring in front of the cave, and the cool wind is blowing gently, and you love me; The water in the cave gurgles all year round, like a dream. It is said that the cave is 80 meters deep and 60 meters high, with Guangming Temple at the top and the parking lot at the foot of the mountain at the bottom. Coming out of the misty rain pavilion outside the cave, stop for a moment, misty rain and water flow upward, the slate road is clean, the green branches are hidden, the leaves are swaying, and the dripping water turns to Shiping Road, which is very comfortable. Looking at that intimate feeling, it is cool and pleasant, and the body and mind are particularly relaxed.
Wulian Mountain, like the back garden of the soul, will sink into the refreshing coolness no matter who comes here. In this world, what a state it is to abandon all troubles, collect clouds, breathe green, stretch your body and mind in light clouds and light winds, and return to nature! This is the charm of Wulian Wonderland!
Postscript: Wulian Mountain, a granite mountain, is located in Wulian County, Rizhao City, on the southeast coast of Shandong Province. Wuduo Mountain was originally named Wuduo Mountain, because there are five towering peaks in the mountain: Tianzhu, Lotus, Wanghai, Compassion and Hanging Moon, which are often surrounded by clouds, just like five hibiscus flowers, hence the name. Wuduo Mountain was originally a part of Jiuxian Mountain and was named as early as the Han Dynasty. When Su Dongpo learned about Mizhou in the Northern Song Dynasty, he came here to visit and praised "a wonderful show never reduces geese". Wulian Mountain became famous in the Ming Dynasty. In the thirty years of Wanli, the monks in West Shu became famous. After visiting famous mountains and rivers, they chose this land of feng shui and settled down under the Great Compassion Peak. Soon after, at the invitation of my senior brother, I rushed to Beijing with the water from Guangming Spring and the herbs produced in this mountain, and cured the eye disease for Queen Li. Ming Kai then asked the imperial court to give the mountain names, and the emperor was merciful. He changed the five mountains to Wulian Mountain, allocated 5,000 gold from the state treasury, built a temple to protect the country, and sent Zhang Sizhong, the magistrate, to escort the imperial edicts and Tibetan scriptures into the mountains for sacrifice, and ordered the monks around five miles to return to the temple. From then on, Wulian Mountain became famous and overshadowed Jiuxian Mountain.
