Does anyone know what the two factions of Feng Shui are?

Feng Shui is a university subject, and it is difficult to learn it to a certain depth, because not everyone is talented in learning Feng Shui. This is why so many people learn Feng Shui. There are only a few main reasons why it is best to become a Feng Shui master.

In many aspects, because there are various opinions and cannot be unified, they will be divided into various factions, as large as a party in a country, as small as a small group. There are smaller groups that are more intimate, and the same is true in Feng Shui. From the ancient Feng Shui exhibition, two factions gradually formed due to differences in application. So what are the two major factions of Feng Shui? They are mainly divided into the Situation School and the Liqi School.

In the history of Feng Shui, these two sects are the mainstream. Among them, the Situation sect is also called the Luantou sect, which mainly focuses on observing the landscape and terrain, so it is named after Luantou. Led by Jiangxi, the Luantou School has declined due to the difficulty of observing the topography of the mountains, and many methods of observing the topography of the mountains have gradually been lost. The other Liqi school is based in Fujian, and mainly uses the I Ching directions and the compass. Because it is easier to learn Feng Shui, Li Qi School has become the mainstream of modern Feng Shui. Feng Shui is divided into two major factions. Now the Li Qi faction is the main one.

I know the two major factions of Feng Shui, but these two factions are not completely different. They all need to follow several major principles of Feng Shui, namely the balance of yin and yang, the unity of nature and man, and the mutual restraint of the five elements. These three principles are the uniqueness of the two schools, and each has its own measurable Feng Shui techniques and methods, which are their respective characteristics.

Most of the Feng Shui masters nowadays basically come from the Chuli style school, because it can be studied relatively easily, and even the same school has many branches, such as various branches in mainland China, Taiwan and other places. There are branches, and each branch has many theories, but they are still fundamentally about the application of Li Qi.

When it comes to the two factions of Feng Shui, I feel that it is not a very important issue. What is important is that the masters of these two factions serve the Chinese people. They are all very good factions. They all follow three major principles: the principle of the unity of heaven, earth and man, the principle of balance between yin and yang, and the principle of the mutual generation and restraint of the five elements.
