Differences: The styles of landscape paintings in Song Dynasty are quite different. The Five Dynasties and the early Song Dynasty were the peaks of landscape painting. In the early Northern Song Dynasty, both styles were inherited, advocating learning from nature and getting inspiration from Shan Ye. The garden flowers and birds developed greatly in the middle and late Northern Song Dynasty, and the landscape paintings in the Southern Song Dynasty developed unexpectedly, showing unprecedented boldness in style.
