Aside from prejudice, how should we scientifically define Feng Shui?

Many people say that Feng Shui is superstitious for two reasons. First, such people don't understand the essence and significance of Feng Shui, and everything they don't understand is classified as superstition. Second, some people are really confusing people with Feng Shui. So, how to define the function of Feng Shui? I think geomantic omen is scientific, and my definition is that geomantic omen is the choice that materials are lazy to exist in the environment, and it is a science that studies the different results produced by the interaction of materials in different environmental combination modes.

If a stone is placed in different parts of the world, its weathering speed will be different; A coconut tree can grow and bear fruit normally in tropical areas, such as Hainan Island in China, but it can't grow and bear fruit in the north, let alone bear fruit. Here, as we all know, the properties of coconut trees have not changed, only the external environment has changed. The effect caused by this external environment is actually what we commonly call feng shui. Choosing a good geomantic omen is essentially choosing an environmental combination suitable for the best material living conditions, while for life, of course, choosing a combination suitable for the best living environment conditions. Of course, this combination is multifaceted, and its role is also in different fields.

For human beings, our own evolution makes us have a high degree of wisdom and thinking, so we call ourselves advanced animals. The difference between this advanced animal and other life lies in its superb intelligent thinking. On the one hand, evolution makes it more adaptable to the environment, on the other hand, it has the ability to change the small environment. For example, when it is cold, we can keep warm in various ways. When it is hot, it can cool down, split mountains to divert water, and move mountains to fill the sea. Therefore, relatively speaking, the influence of Feng Shui on human beings is always less than that on other life or things.

How much influence does geomantic omen have on human beings? This problem has been difficult to define accurately in many Feng Shui works. There are many popular sayings, such as good feng shui leads to good life (eight characters), and one life has two luck and three feng shui. Therefore, some people say: "One room in the Yang dynasty affects one generation, and one room in the Yin dynasty affects one family" and so on.
