1, pot soil preparation
To grow strawberries at home, vermiculite, cake fertilizer and microbial bacterial fertilizer should be used to prepare loose, breathable and nutritious culture soil, and then porous, drainage and breathable porcelain pots and clay pots should be used as planting utensils. Before planting, pay attention to insolate and disinfect the pot soil to avoid strawberry growing badly.
2, seedling selection and field planting
In the process of planting strawberries, we should choose plants with good growth, no damage and 3-5 leaves. After fully spreading their roots, plant them in pot soil prepared in advance, then cover the soil with water, put the strawberries in a ventilated place, and then move them to the sunny place for maintenance after the plants adapt to the environment.
3. Daily management
Strawberries like humidity, but they are not drought-tolerant. In the process of cultivation, water is poured every five days to keep the soil moist, and urea is sprayed every seven days to promote the growth of stems and leaves. After entering the bud stage, the ambient temperature should be kept at 18-30 degrees, so that the plant can successfully complete flower bud differentiation.
Precautions for planting strawberries:
1, reasonable ventilation
Strawberry can't grow in a closed environment without ventilation, and it is not suitable to be placed or planted next to leafy plants, which will hinder the airflow and lead to various diseases or premature death of strawberry. If it is a potted plant planted indoors, it needs to be placed on a window sill or something.
2. Reasonable water control
In the early stage of growth and development, strawberry is suitable to live in slightly dry soil because its roots are not fully developed. Generally, as long as the soil is slightly wet, it is not necessary to water it every day, but it can be watered once every three days, but it should be adjusted according to the weather conditions.
3. Treatment of diseased plants
The newly planted strawberries will have obvious boundaries in about 5-7 days, and the surviving strawberry seedlings will begin to pull out new leaves. Those strawberry seedlings that are sick or too delicate will wilt or even die obviously, so they should be pulled out in time to avoid infection or pollution.
