Yongning District is located in the south of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, southeast of Nanning, the capital. Now it has jurisdiction over five towns including Pumiao Town, Xinjiang Town, Baiji Town, Nalou Town and Zhonghe Town and emerging industrial parks, with a total area of 1.255 square kilometers and 332,280 people.
Yongning District, located on the banks of Yongjiang River and Bachi River, is the core node of the Pearl River-Xijiang Economic Belt, an important urban area connecting Nanning to Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area in the east and Qin Fang in the south, and also one of the main battlefields for the development and construction of wuxiang new district.
