Peng Memorial Hall is located at the foot of Wushi Peak in wushi village, Wushi Town, Xiangtan County, Hunan Province. Built on the mountain, it echoes the bronze statue of Peng, with a total area of 365,438+000 square meters.
The memorial hall adopts the traditional courtyard layout of China, and four exhibition halls and eight exhibition rooms are densely arranged around the preface hall. The preface hall is a spacious octagon, and the main wall is composed of three groups of red high reliefs, showing the bloody battle of Luo Xiao, the Hundred Regiments War and the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea. There is a bust in the middle, which shaped the image of Peng in the liberation war. The whole preface hall highly condenses and reproduces Peng Ke's heroic achievements and great personality charm with highly infectious works of art. The exhibition of the memorial hall is divided into four parts, including 20 chapters, more than 300 photos and a large number of precious art exhibits, which vividly and artistically reproduces Peng's great, glorious and fighting life by using various means of expression such as sound, light and electricity.
