Teng County has 15 towns under its jurisdiction.
The 15 towns are: Tengzhou Town, Tangbu Town, Langnan Town, Tongxin Town, Jinji Town, Xinqing Town, Xiangqi Town, Lingjing Town, Tianping Town, Mengjiang Town, Heping Town Town, Taiping Town, Gulong Town, Dongrong Town, Dali Town.
Teng County belongs to Wuzhou City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. It borders Cangwu County, Changzhou District and Longwei District to the east, Cenxi City and Yulin City Rong County to the south, Pingnan County of Guigang City to the west, and Pingnan County of Guigang City to the north. Mengshan County and Zhaoping County are adjacent; it is 55 kilometers away from Wuzhou City Government, between 23°02′35"~24°03′09" north latitude and 110°21′00"~111°11′27" east longitude.
Climate Characteristics of Teng County
Teng County is located in the subtropical region. The five towns of Ningkang, Dali, Dongrong, Pingfu and Gulong in the county have a mid-subtropical monsoon climate, and the remaining towns have a mid-subtropical monsoon climate. It has a south subtropical monsoon climate. The climate is characterized by long summers and short winters, with four distinct seasons. There are many cloudy and rainy weather in spring; hot thunderstorms in summer, sometimes heavy rainstorms and hail; autumn drought and cold dew winds are common in autumn.
Frost occurs in most winter years. Due to the complex topography and structure, there are some zonal and basin-type small-scale climates. For example, there are river valleys in Taiping and Dongrong along the Mengjiang River. The temperature is higher and more humid than other areas in Fujibei. The location of Tengnan Tongxin Township forms a small basin with high temperature and microclimate.
