Longmen Island is the largest island among the Longmen Islands in Qinzhou City, with an area of about 10 square kilometers. Longmen Island, located at the exit of Maoweihai, is the gateway for water to enter and leave Qinzhou. Longmen Island is one of the largest fishery production bases along the coast of Guangxi, and it is also a battleground for military strategists in past dynasties. The high-rise building on the island is called the "General Building", which was the command post of the former commander of Guangzhou Defense Agency, Lieutenant General Shen Baofan, and is now well preserved. Climbing to the top of the building, the scenery of water, mountains and islands is unobstructed. At night, fishing boats are scattered all over the sea, which is quite poetic. In the 1960s, Longmen Island was connected with the land through a dike, and cars could pass. Longmen Island can be connected with the mainland, and the traffic is very convenient.
