Xiaozhuang told Kangxi before he died, "The mountains of Taizong have been in peace for a long time, so don't treat me lightly. Besides, I can't bear to part with your father and son, so I chose a place to bury me near your father's grave. " Later, in accordance with the imperial edict of the Empress Dowager, Kangxi moved the demolition of Cining Palace where Xiao Zhuang lived before his death to the foot of Changrui Mountain near Xiaoling, renamed it "Temporary Anfeng Hall" and stopped using it. It is thirty-eight years to stop like this. It was not until the third year of Yongzheng (1725) that the mausoleum was officially built for burial. Qiaocheng is the queen of Xiao Zhuang. Strangely, however, Xiao Zhuang's mausoleum was not buried in the Feng Shui wall like other emperors and empresses in the Qing Dongling, but was buried outside the Feng Shui wall. Why did Xiaozhuang refuse to bury Huang Taiji back? Is there something hidden in it that is not known to the world?
Now many historians say that sourdrang queen didn't want to go back to the Commissioner and be buried with Huang Taiji because she had married Dourgen and was ashamed to see the ground. Scholars who hold this view are mainly based on the following reasons: First, from the situation at that time, Dourgen had great power after entering the customs, almost dominating the sky, and in fact his power was greater than that of the emperor. So, in order to stabilize the Regent, Xiao Zhuang and Shunzhi named him "Uncle Regent" and "Uncle Regent" successively, and then they married Dourgen. Secondly, according to Manchu custom, it is natural for a brother to marry a sister-in-law. Therefore, there is nothing unreasonable for Xiaozhuang to marry Dourgen from the Manchu point of view. Third, people think that the reason why Dourgen was later appointed by Shunzhi is that
"The emperor's father, the Regent." Because his mother married him, it is more reasonable to call him that.
However, there are also some historians who oppose it. They think that although Xiaozhuang and Dourgen conform to Manchu customs, it does not necessarily mean that they will follow this custom. Xiao Zhuang and Dourgen admired each other from their early years, which is also a legend of unofficial history without historical basis. Xiao Zhuang was the Empress Dowager of the two Dynasties, and once shouldered the important task of assisting two monarchs. If Xiaozhuang married Dourgen, she would have become a princess, and there would be no more Empress Dowager and Empress Dowager. Therefore, the marriage between Xiao Zhuang and Dourgen is still a big doubt in the history circle, and abnormal burial is also an unsolved mystery.
