Hebi, located in the northern part of Henan Province, is named after the legend "Crane perches on the precipice of Nanshan Mountain". It was built in 1957 with an area of 2 182 square kilometers. It has jurisdiction over five administrative regions, namely Xunxian, Qixian, qibin district, Shancheng and Heshan, and three functional regions, namely Hebi National Economic and Technological Development Zone, Urban-Rural Integration Demonstration Zone and Baoshan Economic and Technological Development Zone. It is the core development zone of the Central Plains urban agglomeration. Hebi has a beautiful environment and is suitable for living, industry and tourism. With good natural ecology, coordinated urban and rural development and efficient government services, China is a demonstration city of human settlements, a national forest city, a national health city and a national garden city. Circular economy, energy saving and emission reduction, sponge city and clean heating have become national pilot demonstrations.
