Jade can be said to be a cultural representative object with Chinese characteristics. It is particular to put a glass of water on the counter selling jade for three reasons:
1. Protect jade. If you don't put a glass of water, the jade may crack due to external reasons such as dry weather. Therefore, another reason to put a glass of water on the jade counter is to determine the Feng Shui of the counter. If Feng Shui is good, business will naturally flourish. Therefore, putting a glass of water can play the role of calming Feng Shui, warding off evil spirits, and attracting wealth.
3. Warm and nourish jade. Jade is like Wenwan, it is cultivated. However, since the jade in the counter is for sale, we cannot directly play with it with our hands and apply paste and color to it. Putting a cup of water in it can warm the jade and play a part in "playing with it".
