The construction date of Wenfeng Pagoda is unknown, and the architectural form is the legacy of the Ming Dynasty. Built in ancient Taiping County, pray for peace and prosperity. Because it is close to Nansi Temple, it is also called "Nansi Pagoda", and because it is located in a tea garden, the tea garden built in the seventh year of Ming Hongwu has been idle for a long time. In the 16th year of Daoguang (1836), it was rebuilt as an experimental courtyard, and this tower was also in the experimental courtyard, so it was called "pre-school tower" by the people.
The octagonal nine-story hollow Wenfeng Tower is 2 1 1.5 meters high, and the original height is 24 meters, because the pagoda brake no longer exists. The tower runs from the first floor to the ninth floor, and there are no steps to climb. The first floor is paved with imitation wood for five times as a double-copy bucket arch, and the second floor and above are capped layer by layer. Tall and straight is a sign of overlooking peace. This tower is on the same axis as the brick tower in Beifertile soil and the brick tower in Jiulonggou, Taichang.
Wenfeng Pagoda was announced as a county-level protection unit on 196 1, and now it is part of the sixth batch of Fencheng ancient buildings under national key cultural relics protection units.
