When it comes to the problem that the Jade Emperor and Tathagata Buddha are not from the same religion, but there are many temples displaying them at the same time, the first thing that comes to my mind is the Taoist identity of the Jade Emperor, so the question directly raised here is It should be a question of why Taoism and Buddhism are the same "temples".
As for this problem, I was also puzzled when I was very young, because at that time, my family always took me to Badachu, and in Badachu, I would always see the person who entered this "room". Buddha and Bodhisattva, and the Jade Emperor or Guan Gong entered that room, then I usually ask family members why, and the most common answer from family members is that Buddhism and Taoism are one family. All right! This trend of thought has been around since the Jin Dynasty, so we can't blame them for misleading their children.
Now I just want to talk about why we all feel as if all statues and religions are bunched together! That's because we, as tourists rather than religious believers, still have a half-understanding after a series of walks through the house and temple, which creates an illusion for us. Because we only know the statues of Tathagata Buddha, Guanyin Bodhisattva, Manjushri Bodhisattva, Jade Emperor, Guan Gong and other gods and Buddhas, we may go directly from the nunnery to the temple, and then from there. The string of temples inside the temple eventually creates the illusion that people from different religions are worshiping together. Of course, it can be seen that the coexistence between their different religions is quite harmonious. Therefore, the last point to emphasize is, don’t listen to unbiased beliefs.
