Brief introduction of Lingshan Buddha in Jiangsu Province

Jiangsu Lingshan Giant Buddha is located on the beautiful shore of Taihu Lake, in Wuxi, a national Taihu Lake resort. As soon as the scenic spot faces the lake and embraces three mountains, it is a rare Buddhist treasure. Mashan, where Jiangsu Lingshan Buddha is located, has a long history. The first emperor of China once came here. In the prosperous Tang Dynasty, the mysterious mage who learned Buddhist scriptures from the West came to Mashan, named Xiaoling Mountain, and sent his disciples to build a temple in Mashan, a treasure trove of geomantic omen. After the founding of New China, the Xiangfu Temple on Mashan Mountain was renovated and reopened to the outside world. The 88-meter-long Lingshan Buddha was built under the auspices of the former Buddhist Association. Since then, the Lingshan Buddha has been shining brightly, and people come to the scenic spot in an endless stream.
