Xixi Ancient Village, formerly named Luxi Village, is a well-preserved ancient village in Ming Dynasty with a history of hundreds of years. Xixi Ancient Village, built in Ming Dynasty, is the first batch of historical and cultural ancient villages awarded in Guangdong Province, and is known as the first "fragrant village" in China.
This ancient village is adjacent to Hanxi River, the perfume transportation road. At that time, the villagers all planted incense and made incense, taking incense as their business. Because the ancient village looks like a gourd, it is also called "Fulu Ancient Village". When Xixi Ancient Village was built, Beijing Feng Shui Master was specially hired with high salary to design the village.
