Where is Yunjin Pavilion Pagoda located?

Yunjin Pavilion Pagoda is a cultural relic protection unit in Guangzhou.

Opposite Panxi Restaurant on Longjin West Road, there is a small courtyard called Yunjin Garden, which contains an ancient pagoda-Wenta, which is regarded as a "treasure of geomantic omen".

Guangzhou Wenta Wenta is 13 meters high, and it is a hexagonal brick-wood structure with a golden spire. The bottom of the tower is 2.5 meters wide on each side. The tower is two stories high, with a "South Axis" stone plaque at the door, and a "Yunjin Pavilion" stone plaque embedded above the window on the second floor. The base of the tower is made of stone, and the tower is made of Dongguan Daqing brick. There is a ceramic gourd at the top of the tower, which is 2 meters high.

Guangzhou Wenta is surrounded by Wenta. Originally, rivers were everywhere, litchi trees were growing, and flower boats were cruising. Now, it has become a flower street with a thoroughfare of ten miles, in which Wenta stands quietly. When the pagoda was built remains to be tested, but the old residents nearby all say that it was built in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties, and it is said that it is the same typical architectural style of Ming and Qing dynasties as Renwei Temple.

Guangzhou Wenta According to folklore, Wenta is a sacred tower dedicated to Kuixing (also known as Wenquxing) and holds the fame and fortune of literati and poets. Wen Quxing holds a pen in his hand, and whoever is selected by this pen can win the imperial examinations such as Jinshi and Juren in high school. Therefore, the architectural appearance of Wenta resembles the shape of an upward nib! In the old days, there were two ideal ways for a person to achieve fame and greatness, that is, "a scholar writes a pen to secure the world, and a warrior mounts a horse to settle down." Therefore, the pagoda that helps the "literati to write" is also very similar to the "fame pagoda", which is a symbol of honor and dreams, and is a rich pagoda for those who hold books and pens in a scholarly family and a deep pavilion.

Guangzhou Wenta

Next to the Wenta is the upper branch of Xiguan River. In the past, during the Dragon Boat Festival, the "old Guangzhou" who came from afar or stayed close to their homes could also watch the wonderful dragon boat race performed by Pantang villagers in the vicinity of Wenta.

The tower is not tall, and the architecture is not exquisite. Compared with the gorgeous sculptures in Renwei Temple, it is really inconspicuous, but it makes people feel more and more ancient. The simplicity reveals the aura of recalling the Pearl. Mr. said it well.

Wenta bears witness to the history of Liwan. Literati have indeed been born in Liwan. Pantang has also become the birthplace of cultural customs in Lingnan and a famous tourist spot for tourists to appreciate Xiguan customs.
