Kindergartens and nurseries

In 1958 after the founding of the People's Republic of China, most rural communes and brigades began to operate nurseries or kindergartens, both year-round and seasonal. The funds for running the hospital are raised by the production team themselves, and the production team assigns women from their own team to serve as caregivers. Remuneration is the labor points of the same labor force. Seasonal ones are more common, usually when farming is busy and farming is idle. Only the kindergarten and nursery school of Yancun Brigade of Nanyang Commune are run year-round, equipped with two full-time teachers, and have achieved outstanding results. During the period when Fufeng County was merged into Xingping County, this brigade was the best example of early childhood education in the Fufeng area of ??Xingping County.

After Fufeng County restored its county system in 1961, residents and employees of Jiangzhang and Chengguan towns each opened year-round nurseries. It was closed during the "Cultural Revolution". In 1973, the Chengguan Town Nursery School was restored and two preschool teachers were hired to provide courses such as children's language, children's songs, literacy, and games. The funds are borne by the unit where the children are working, and the facilities are rudimentary and the building is small.

In 1976, Fufeng County Government Kindergarten was opened, equipped with 3 to 4 kindergarten teachers.

In 1977, the county towel factory, water pump factory, nitrogen fertilizer factory, agricultural machinery repair and manufacturing factory and the county-based Baoji City Jiangzhang Social Welfare Institute, Shaanxi Province Shengli Machinery Factory, Shaanxi Province Telecom No. 2 Factory, and Baojixia Engineering Management Bureau Other units have opened more than 10 kindergartens or nurseries. In the autumn of 1985, Huang Peizhen (Taiwanese), a villager from the Zhao family in Xiaoliu Village, Chengguan Town, took the initiative to set up a kindergarten in two rooms at home, enrolling 27 children free of charge. She spent her own money to purchase teaching supplies and toys, and provided voluntary supervision. She was praised by the villagers. Received commendations and awards from the County CPPCC, the United Front Work Department of the County Party Committee, and the Baoji CPPCC. There are county government kindergartens and Shengli Machinery Factory nurseries that have been held all year round. In 1990, *** admitted 97 children in 5 classes and 8 teaching staff.

Preschool class

In 1977, in order to facilitate children's admission to kindergarten and daycare, some production teams of Rougu Commune agreed with the local primary school to classify six-year-old children who have not reached school age into preschool classes and provide them with Preschool education is managed by local primary school leaders. The education of young children is implemented in accordance with unified national regulations and has achieved good results. Later, it gradually evolved into a preschool and was promoted throughout the county.

In 1982, there were 257 preschool classes in the county, with 7,850 children enrolled and 257 teachers. In 1990, there were 246 classes, 9277 children enrolled and 248 teachers. After Fufeng County was liberated in July 1949, the county people's government took over 146 primary schools that existed during the Republic of China, and later opened 54 new ones, totaling 200 schools with 5,987 students. In 1953, it grew to 233 schools with 19,220 students, accounting for 64% of the county's school-age children. In 1957, it grew to 236 schools with 26,472 students.

After 1984, in order to popularize primary education and improve the backward situation of primary schools with "shabby houses, earth platforms, and mud children", Fufeng County mobilized the people of the county to raise 4,321,465 yuan, and the state invested 555,000 yuan.*** Renovated 28 primary schools, built or renovated more than 3,300 school buildings, repaired more than 2,200 school buildings, with a construction area of ??more than 10,000 square meters, purchased 11,559 desks, 15,990 stools, and repaired 31,616 meters of fences. The county's 53 junior primary schools, 186 primary schools, and 22 Daima (primary schools with junior high school classes) primary schools are basically in danger-free buildings, with classrooms and tables and benches. Among them, the county-run key primary schools, North Street Central Primary School, Jiangzhang Town West Street Central Primary School and 14 township (town) central primary schools have made great improvements.

At the end of 1990, there were 239 primary schools of various types in the county, with 1,621 classes and 50,387 students. The county's primary school enrollment rate is 99%, the retention rate is 98.6%, the graduation rate is 97.5%, and the universalization rate is 97%. It has basically met the requirements of the Ministry of Education for universal primary education and has become an advanced county in primary education.

At the end of 2012, there were 107 primary schools (including 4 private primary schools) and 1,727 full-time primary school teachers. There are 23,873 primary school students. The enrollment rate of school-age children reaches 100%. Junior Middle School

After the liberation of Fufeng County in July 1949, the County People's Government took over the original "County Junior Middle School", with 7 classes and about 360 students. In 1970, the number of junior high schools in the county increased to 11, with 9,870 students. In 1990, there were 41 schools (including 9 nine-year schools), with 1,384 full-time teachers and 20,003 students.

Senior High School

Before the founding of the People’s Republic of China, there was no senior high school in Fufeng County.

After the founding of the People's Republic of China, two high school classes were established in the county junior high school in 1959, with 138 students and more than 10 faculty members. This was the first high school in Fufeng County.

In 1960, Jiangzhang Junior High School added two high school classes, and in 1970, Douhui Junior High School added one high school class. In that year, Xinglin High School was built, enrolling two classes. In 1972, two additional classes were added to the legal high school enrollment; the children's school of Shaanxi Shengli Machinery Factory added one high school class. In 1974, Wujing High School and Shangsong High School were added. In 1976, Huangfu High School and Tiandu High School were added. From 1977 to 1979, Huangdui High School and Rougu High School were added, and private high school classes were set up in Taibai Middle School, Xinglin Middle School, and Chengguan Middle School.

By 1979, there were 12 senior middle schools and complete middle schools, 3 junior high schools with high school classes, 5,060 students, and 217 faculty members (including 17 private ones).

Since 1980, the school network has been rectified and adjusted. At the end of 1984, the number of senior high schools was reduced from 15 to 5. It includes Fufeng High School, Jiangzhang High School, Douhui Middle School, Xinglin High School and Shaanxi Shengli Machinery Factory Children's School. There are 3,573 students and 226 faculty and staff.

At the end of 2012, there were 20 ordinary middle schools (including 1 private high school) and 2,088 full-time teachers in ordinary middle schools. There are 24,717 students in ordinary middle schools throughout the year. The enrollment rate of school-age children reaches 100%.
