How to worship the new grave in the first year

1. Children and grandchildren need wine and food, and three sacrifices and five fruits are offered to worship. In the first year, the tomb should be opened on the day before Qingming, the second day of Qingming and the third year after Qingming. Since then, every time before and after Tomb-Sweeping Day, future generations have taken fruit tomb paper to sweep the grave. Pei Tomb is also called Yi Tomb, Wall Tomb and Filled Tomb.

2. According to the custom, the order of offering sacrifices to sweep the grave is to sweep the grave first, that is, to clean the cemetery. Secondly, sacrifice, this procedure is very important, one is to mourn, and the other is to feel the same way with the ancestors, because the mountain has a spirit without a master, and the ancestors have a master without a spirit. Only by feeling the same way with the ancestors can we better obtain the aura of mountains and rivers. Remind friends that this is feng shui.

3. When sweeping graves, people come to the cemetery with food, wine, fruit, paper money and other items, offer food to the graves of their loved ones, then burn paper money, cultivate new soil for the graves, trim the graves, break some fresh green branches and insert them on the graves, and press some paper money on them to show that there are descendants in the graves, and then kowtow to worship.

4. After that, sit around and eat and drink; You can also fly kites and even compete with each other for related activities. Women and children will also fold some Yang Liuzhi nearby and put on steamed food with wicker. Others put wicker into reeds and put them on their heads, saying, "If you don't wear willow in Qingming Festival, you will become a yellow dog in the afterlife."

5. The new grave doesn't pass the club: It refers to those who died recently the year before or that year. In some areas, within three years of their new death, they should sweep their graves in front of the Spring Club (the time of the Spring Club is usually the fifth day after beginning of spring, around the vernal equinox, but there are also sayings in China about the second day of February, the eighth day of February, the twelfth day of February and the fifteenth day of February. )。 For example, "History of Fu Nan" says: "The new grave is sacrificed in front of the country, and both men and women in the family go." According to my very limited experience, this custom exists in most places such as Hunan, Hubei, Jiangxi and Guangdong.
