1. Location: Hejin is located in the Jin Yao of the Yellow River, which is an important channel connecting east and west. Because it is located at the main entrance of the river, it is named "Longmen".
2. History and culture: During Dayu's flood control period, Hejin dug Longmen to make the river smooth. This is also one of the historical sources of the name of Hejin Longmen. Historically, many literati, bureaucrats and celebrities have visited Hejin, leaving many precious poems and stories, which further enhanced the popularity of Hejin.
3. Traditional customs: Hejin people have been inheriting Dayu's spirit of water control. Every year, a grand Longmen Temple Fair is held to worship Dayu and pray for good weather and abundant crops. This traditional custom also makes Hejin Longmen famous.
