Interpretation of place names
According to legend, Yicheng County was the fief of the ancient Tang Dynasty, Shanxi was called Jin for short, and Sanjin was the laudatory name of Shanxi. Yicheng County, located in the south of Shanxi Province, was called Tang State in ancient times. It has been the throat of southern Shanxi since ancient times. In the Western Zhou Dynasty, it was sealed here and later renamed Jin. The Spring and Autumn Period was the hometown of the Golden Shield. In the twelfth year of Taihe in the Northern Wei Dynasty, Beijiang County was established. In the eighteenth year of Emperor Kai of Sui Dynasty, it was changed to Yicheng County, and in the third year of Tang Dynasty, it was changed to Huichuan County. In the Song Dynasty, it was renamed Yicheng County and promoted to Yizhou. Yuan was renamed Yicheng County, which has been in use ever since. Zhang Deying and Zheng once said: "As we all know, Tang is a dictionary to understand Chinese civilization. Tang people, Tang costumes, Chinatown ... In the emotional world of Chinese people all over the world, the complex of' Tang' can't be solved anyway, because it contains too much glory of the Chinese nation; As we all know,' Jin' is a word that interprets the history of Shanxi. Jinshan, Jinshui, Jin culture ... Yicheng people who live in their hometown have a special liking not only for the Tang Dynasty, but also for the word Jin, which represents the courage to forge ahead, because it carries too deep Jin cultural connotation. Whether it was the Datang Empire established by Tang Palace Li Yuan at the end of Sui Dynasty or the Jin State established by Sima family at the end of Cao Wei Dynasty, their prosperous times were once the territory of Jin State. Tracing back to the source, they all copied the names of Tang and Jin, ancient countries in the pre-Qin period, located in Yicheng today. Although some people still complain that Yicheng was named as the Tang Dynasty by Yao and the first city by the State of Jin, it is well-deserved to be named as the hometown and the old capital of the State of Jin by studying the historical classics of Chajia and studying the frequently unearthed cultural relics. Therefore, we can proudly say that China is a famous historical and cultural city, but to understand why China is called "Tang", we can only find its roots in Yicheng; There are countless cities in the majestic Sanjin, but to find out why Shanxi is called' Jin', we can only explore the source in Yicheng. " It serves to show that "Yicheng is the starting point of Sanjin". In 458 BC, shortly after Jin Aigong ascended the throne, Zhi Bo, one of the six ministers of the State of Jin (Zhi, Zhao, Wei, Han, Fan and BOC), seized the real power of the State of Jin. Together with Han and Wei, he carved up the land of Fan and Bank of China. Then Zhi Bo joined forces with Han and Wei to besiege Jinyang and Enemy at the Gates, the capital of Zhao, in an attempt to destroy Zhao in one fell swoop. Based on the principle of "the lips are dead and the teeth are cold", Zhao Xiangzi sent someone to secretly persuade the Han and Wei to jointly deal with Zhi Bo, and defeated the wisdom army in Jinyang, killing Zhi Bo. In 453 BC, Zhao, Han and Wei carved up the territory of the State of Jin. In 403 BC, that is, in the twenty-third year of Zhou Weilie (the seventeenth year of Jin Weigong), Zhao, Wei and Han were made princes. Since Zhao, Wei and Han were all born in the State of Jin, after the "Three Kingdoms Divided into Jin", although the State of Jin was declared extinct, the emerging Zhao, Wei and Han were among the vassals and tampered with the China stage. As a principality, however, gold has existed in name only for 28 years in a narrow world. People also call Zhao, Wei and Bill Han the "Three Jin Dynasties". This is the origin of "three golds". After 2000, people still miss and praise Sanjin, and they are collectively called Sanjin. It can be seen that Sanjin's position in the history of China reflects the connotation of being one of the cradles of China's civilization history more widely than Shanxi. It shows that Sanjin culture has realized the integration of northern culture and central plains culture and made historic contributions to the inheritance and development of Chinese national culture. It shows that Sanjin, with its superior geographical position, rich resources and talented people, is a treasure trove of geomantic omen in the motherland. Some people say that Shanxi is a long and narrow province, with Taihang in the east and Lvliang in the west. The population is concentrated in the narrow corridors on both sides of the Fenhe River, with only northern Shanxi, Jinzhong and southern Shanxi, and there is no distinction between eastern Shanxi and western Shanxi, so it is called "three Jin". But this statement is not recognized by many people. Zhao, Wei and Han's "Three Jin" theory is more convincing.
