The wealth Buddha, represented by the "King of Treasure", is the embodiment of the southern treasure Buddha. Although it shows the foreign minister of Tianwang, it is actually the incarnation of Buddha. Beside Bao Wang, there are subordinates of the eight roads of the God of Wealth (east, west, south, north, southeast, southwest, northeast and northwest) to help Bao Wang save all beings and fulfill his wishes.
According to the Buddhist scriptures, when Sakyamuni Buddha was alive, King Bao made a wish in front of the Buddha, wishing to protect the Buddhism and give rich food to all sentient beings, so that they could achieve worldly laws.
