Xuancheng jiangcun fengshui

The earliest impression of Huizhou comes from the poem "I have never dreamed of Huizhou in my life". At that time, I was still young, but I yearned for Huizhou because I heard that poetry was literary enough. Many years later, when I set foot on this land, I realized that it was really difficult for me to describe Huizhou in one sentence, because it was so rich.

As the saying goes, "There is no town and no emblem" and "Huizhou merchants are all over the world", so when you are traveling in southern Anhui now, the ancient Huizhou villages that have been preserved to this day still show their former glory. Jiangcun, located in Jingde, Xuancheng, Anhui Province, is such a heavy ancient village.

Jiangcun was founded in the late Sui Dynasty and early Tang Dynasty, with a history of 1300 years. It once flourished in the long river of history and reached its peak in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, with a population of 80,000. It is a veritable "Little Hangzhou".

In fact, before Hongcun and Xidi were in full swing next door, Jiangcun in Jingdezhen was already a little-known ancient village attraction at that time. It's a pity that Hongcun Xidi, which came from behind, made Jiangcun look much colder today with the name of World Heritage and relatively mature publicity mode.

But in my opinion, this state is just right, not as noisy and commercial as Hongcun Xidi, everything is just right, the ancient buildings are rich, and the fireworks are relatively natural. Walking on the journey seems to be a dialogue with the emblem culture of thousands of years.

Jiangcun 1 Unique ancestral temple culture

It can be said that clan culture occupies an important position in Huizhou culture. As early as the Ming and Qing Dynasties, Huizhou clans were closely linked by arranging music, building shrines and offering sacrifices. The growth of Huizhou merchants is also closely related to clan culture.

These clan activities are often concentrated in a place called ancestral temple, and the ancestral temple culture in Jiangcun is also extremely rich. According to records, there used to be eight ancestral halls in the village, and there are still three complete ancient ancestral halls.

These three ancestral halls are "Jiangs Ancestral Hall", "Pugong Ancestral Hall" and "Ming Xiaozi Wenchang Ancestral Hall". Walking in these ancestral halls, you will be pleasantly surprised to find that the three sculptures of brick, wood and stone made by skilled craftsmen show the charm of Huizhou architecture.

Jiang's genealogy, one of the three genealogies displayed in the cabinet, has become one of the three famous genealogies in the world, recording Jiang's prosperity.

With the passage of time, many glorious past events have long gone, and the sun shines on these century-old buildings, making the ancient buildings in Jiangcun still shine, telling the bits and pieces that happened in the ancestral hall.

The Second Best Jiangcun Village-Father-son Scholar's Party

It can be said that I have seen many arched doors. However, it is the first time to see this kind of archway in Jiangcun Scenic Area. Father and son each have an archway.

As early as the Hongzhi period of the Ming Dynasty, there were two archways to commemorate Jiang's 48th generation Jianghan and 49th generation Jiang's father and son Jinshi. Father's Square, the Jinshi archway in Jianghan, is a stone archway with two columns and three floors, with a height of 8 meters. The "double phoenix" in the middle of the square means that father and son are officials at the same time, and there are two lions playing beads engraved below. Although the whole archway has gone through more than 500 years, the sculpture is still well preserved.

Zifang, also known as Jiang Jinshi Square, is a two-column three-story stone archway with a height of 8 meters. On both sides of the square, the words "Climbing to the Top", "Golden List Lasting" and "Rong En" are engraved respectively, showing its great achievements.

It can be said that in the long river of history, Jiangcun celebrities come forth in large numbers. * * owns 18 memorial archways, 16 "imperial edict" squares and 2 "Rong En" squares. Through these archways, we can see that people in Jiangcun have made great achievements in business and being an official, and the only two archways also show us the charm of architecture in Huizhou culture.

The Third Best of Jiangcun-Fireworks Gas

China's ancient buildings, with vast territory and rich resources, are not unusual. What is commendable is that Jiangcun, after thousands of years, retains a strong smell of fireworks in addition to the service of ancient buildings.

In the morning, I like to hike to the heights to see the smoky morning scene in Jiangcun. Cooking smoke is that Jiangcun people are cooking porridge with fire, and the crowd is crowded. It is a scene where Jiangcun people gather in the market to chat in the morning.

At night, I like to take a walk in Lion Mountain and visit the only inland Mazu Tempel. I also like walking on the old street, watching pedestrians rush home and watching shops set up door panels to close;

In the afterglow of the sunset, Jiangcun began to calm down gradually. 10 At the beginning of October, the night in Jiangcun was still a little sultry in summer, but a breeze was refreshing in an instant.

Tips for Jiangcun Tourism:

How to get there: Hangzhou East takes the high-speed train for two and a half hours and gets off at Jingde Station, and then takes the bus 107 to Jiangcun Scenic Area.

Tourist attractions: In addition to the scenic spots just mentioned, you should not miss the Shuikou Juxiu Lake in Jiangcun. In the former residence of Jiang Zehan, a master of mathematics, you can see the exquisite Huizhou architecture in Qing Dynasty. Many stone tablets preserved since Ming and Qing dynasties can be seen in the forest of steles.
