Formerly known as Dongyue Temple, Dai Temple is now called Dai Temple because of posthumous title's wearing on Mount Tai. It is a place where emperors of past dynasties meditate and worship the God of Mount Tai. The temple was built in the Han Dynasty, expanded in the Tang and Song Dynasties, and then rebuilt, becoming the largest and most complete ancient architectural complex in Taishan, with a length of 405.7 meters from north to south and a width of 236.7 meters from east to west, with a total area of 96,637.2 square meters. The whole building is grand in scale, rigorous in structure, carved with beams and painted with buildings, resplendent and magnificent, just like an imperial palace. The main scenic spots are: the Temple of Heaven in the Song Dynasty, murals, the East Throne, Han Bai, bronze pavilions, etc. Here, the ancient cypresses are lush, the ginkgo trees are towering, there are many inscriptions, and cultural relics are gathered together.
Puzhaosi
Located at the foot of Han Peak in the south of Mount Tai, it is named after the Sanskrit "Bright Buddha's Light" and is said to be the ancient temple of the Six Dynasties. In front of the temple, there is a stream, behind it is a green hill, and a square courtyard is formed according to the mountain situation. On the central axis, there are the mountain gate, the Ursa Hall and the Mosong Building. On the left and right sides of the central axis are Zen Temple, Shitang Courtyard, Garden and Julin Courtyard, which means that "my road is tortuous, through a sheltered valley, branches and flowers, to a Buddhist retreat". The "Six Dynasties Pine" in the courtyard has gone through 1600 years and is one of the famous landscapes of Mount Tai. 1932, patriotic general Feng Yuxiang lived in seclusion here. Now there are 48 pieces of Qiu Bashi written by him, and the 60th birthday of Mr. Feng written at 194 1 block.
Taohuayu
Taishan West Road is located about15km northwest of the city, which is the source of Panhe River. There is a "Peach Blossom Garden" in the middle and upper part of the valley, which is named after the ancient peach forest is full of valleys. Starting from Taohuayu Pass, you can go upstream along the mountain stream, but you can see that the peaks on both sides are beautiful and overlap. The stream is gurgling, singing all the way, and rushing into the peach blossom valley. There are few people here, abundant water plants, lush trees and flowers, no cold in winter and no heat in summer, which constitutes a unique microclimate and is fascinating. It has been opened up as a new tourist attraction.
Behind the stone pier
Houshiwu is located in the deep valley between Daiyin, Yuhuangding, Jiulonggang and Yaoguanding. Here, the mountains are dangerous, the temples are secluded, the caves are strange, the water is beautiful, the Gu Song is beautiful, and there is endless seclusion. "The cliffs are strange and pine, and the mountains and rivers are beautiful, which is fascinating." There are all kinds of Gu Song growing everywhere in the last fifteen miles, some on cliffs, some in deep valleys, some stabbing the sky, and some flying all over the sky. The mountain wind is blowing hard, the pines are bursting, and the mountains echo, making Daiyin more dangerous and quiet.
lingyan temple
Located 20 kilometers northwest of Taicheng, it is named after Lingyan Mountain. There is a stone workshop at the entrance of Lingyan Mountain. The forehead reads "Lingyan Temple Scenic Area", which is the mountain gate of Lingyan Temple. From the mountain gate to the east along the valley, the "Ten Marie Laure Gigon" shaded by green trees is Lingyan Temple. Its temples have a long history and a large scale. Lang Gong, a monk in the Eastern Jin Dynasty, was founded, and the Buddhist monk in the Northern Wei Dynasty was rebuilt. This temple was built by a wise and noble monk during the Zhenguan period of the Tang Dynasty. It has a history of over 1600 years and enjoys a high reputation in China. Tang Gaozong, Li Zhi and Wu Zetian were stationed in the north when they climbed Mount Tai. When they were in Dezong, Li Jifu, the prime minister and historian, praised Lingyan Temple, Tiantai Congress Temple in Zhejiang, qixia temple in Nanjing, Jiangsu and yuquan temple in Jiangling, Hubei as "the four wonders in China", while Lingyan Temple happily enjoyed the reputation of "the first of four wonders" and was famous all over the world.
Fanya
Located on Taishan West Road, it spirals up without Buddha, and then reaches Fanya, which is named after its towering steepness and fan-like shape. To the west of Fanya is Ole Peak, also known as Furong Peak. Because of its prominent position, it is famous for its potential to compete with Dai Feng. Although the peak is not half as high as the main peak of Mount Tai, it is sharp and towering, and proudly does not bow to Mount Tai.
Mountaineering cableway
Zhongtianmen ropeway was completed and opened to traffic on August 5th, 1983, which is the first large-scale three-line reciprocating passenger ropeway in China. It starts from Zhongtianmen in the south and reaches Nantian in the north, with a total length of 2,078 meters and a relative height difference of 603 meters. The one-way passenger flow is 240 people per hour and the running speed is 7 meters per second.
Taohuayuan ropeway was completed and opened to traffic on August 28th, 1993, which is a single-line circulating box-type passenger ropeway. It starts from Taohuayuan Scenic Area and ends at the northern end of Nantianmen, with a total length of 2 1 96m, a relative height difference of 67 1 m, an hourly passenger capacity of110,000 people and a running speed of 5m/s.. There are 49 gondolas on the whole line, each with 6 people.
The latter fifteen cableway was completed and opened to traffic on August 28th, 1993, a sightseeing cableway with single-line circulation and double hanging chairs. It starts from the entrance of Houshiwu Scenic Spot in Daiyin and ends at Beitianmen in Daiding, with a total length of 5 18m and a relative height difference of 172m. The throughput per hour is 500 people and the running speed is 3.5 meters per second. There are 24 hanging chairs on the whole line, and each chair seats two people.
