In order to strengthen urban road traffic management, maintain traffic safety and social security order, and improve road traffic efficiency, Shantou Municipal Government recently issued an announcement to formally delimit the road management scope of downtown Shantou, which will take effect from July 1 year and be valid for 5 years.
According to the announcement, the downtown area of Shantou starts from the east coastline of Xigang (including the east river embankment) in the west, east to the east coast avenue, and north to the east coastline of Laixiu Road-Central Avenue-Xinjin River (including Jinye Island, excluding the east river embankment)-Xiapu Bridge Gate (old bridge)-Zhang Shan North Road-Meixi Bridge-berm Road-Jinfeng Middle Road. Specifically, the areas east of the first line of Xigang River, west of the first line of Xinjin River, Laixiu Road-Central Avenue-Dong 'an Avenue and Zhang Shan North Road-Meixi Bridge-berm Road-south of Jinfeng Middle Road and north of the north shore line of Zhushihai.
From the date of implementation of this announcement, motorcycles that are not registered in Chenghai, Chaoyang, Chaonan District and Nan 'ao County after March 20 14 are prohibited from driving in this area. If the above-mentioned vehicles need to cross the border, they should follow the route designated by the public security organ.
