Haizi Reservoir, also known as Jinhai Lake, is one of the five major reservoirs in Beijing. The reservoir is located at the last section of the river that passes through the mountainous area.
The lake here is open, with nearly ten thousand mu of water surface. Standing on the levee, I looked at the foggy lake in the east, the majestic Dajinshan in the north, the first Panshan Mountain in the east of Nanwangjing, and the endless plains and rural farmhouses in the west.
