2. Due to maintenance problems, the water temperature is too high.
(1) The engine is compact in structure and the corresponding waterway is small. In the southern region, soft water or distilled water must be added to avoid scaling in waterways; In the northern region, it is necessary to fill genuine coolant (antifreeze) in repair stations or regular repair shops to avoid cylinder head corrosion.
(2) When the engine drains water, or when the engine is short of water, the air in the engine may not be completely exhausted after adding water for the first time. If no measures are taken, it may cause air resistance and make the engine temperature too high. The solution is: after adding water, run the engine for a few minutes, open the filler cap and fill it up again.
(3) The gasoline can't reach the specified label (in principle, it is not allowed to be used) or the ignition time is advanced, which may cause the engine to knock and make the water temperature too high. The solution is to adjust the distributor and delay the ignition time appropriately.
(4) Check the oil and water before driving every day to ensure that the water tank is filled with water.
(5) The fan belt is too loose, which may cause the water temperature to be too high. Belt tension can be adjusted properly.
3. The failure of some parts may lead to high water temperature.
(1) If the idle speed with air conditioner is too low, the water temperature may be too high. Check whether the air conditioner idle speed lifter works normally;
(2) Uneven cylinder head or flushed cylinder gasket may lead to high water temperature. The inspection method is: when the engine is cold, open the filler cap and start the engine. If there are bubbles coming out of the water tank, it may be the problem.
(3) Failure of engine cooling system components (such as thermostat, water pump and fan clutch, etc.). ) may cause the water temperature to be too high, so the corresponding parts should be checked and replaced.
The reasons for the high water temperature of the engine in summer are complicated. When this problem occurs, you can check it one by one according to the following methods.
