West Island (West Island)
Seen from the coast of Sanya Bay, West Island and its adjacent East Island (East Island) are like two tortoises lying in the blue waves, which are called "two tortoises floating on the waves". West Island has been inhabited for more than 400 years, and now it is divided into four small fishing villages, East, West, China and New Zealand, with more than 700 families.
In the case that the whole island is not fully open, the most worthwhile things for the West Island for the time being are diving, water recreation and watching the sea erosion landscape of Niuwang Island. In the west, there is a special diving area. You can take part in coral reef diving (460 yuan) in the diving club here and explore the best protected coral area in Sanya.
West Island Amusement World is in the north, and there are all kinds of water activities, all of which are clearly marked at the registration office. Niuwang Island, which belongs to the outer island, is rugged and stands still, and you can enjoy the unique marine erosion landscape. From the winter pier, there is a landscape road connecting Niuwang Island, extending to Niuwang Island, and the scenery is also beautiful.
Wuzhizhou
Wuzhizhou was called "Lianqi Island" in ancient times. This butterfly-shaped island of 1.48 square kilometers is located on the sea 30 kilometers east of the urban area. During the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty, Antang was built on the island, which used to be a military place, but now it has become a leisure resort.
The waters around the island are clear and transparent, and the visibility of seawater is 6-27 meters. It is rich in luminous snails, sea cucumbers, lobsters, mackerel, sea urchins, pomfret and colorful tropical fish. There are well-protected coral reefs in the southern waters. You can choose underwater walking or snorkeling, deep diving, coral reef diving, semi-submersible sightseeing boat and other experiences according to your own situation.
The center of the island is flat, covered with lush shrubs and vines. What is worth visiting is the swimming pool in the scenic spot of the movie "Private Custom", which complements the bird's nest building next to it. Mazu Tempel in the center of the island was built in Guangxu period, and it is also the southernmost Mazu Tempel in China. Today, it is still flourishing. Lover's Valley is a famous dragon blood tree in Sanya, which is an artificial scenic spot. The Sunwatching Rock in the southeast of the island is the best place to watch the sunrise.
You have to go to both places by battery car. The various sea sports and beach projects on the island are another highlight to attract tourists. You can buy tickets for the Underwater World Tour (980 yuan). The package includes seven items, including coral reef diving, motorboat, powered airship and land surfing.
Yazhou Ancient City
The wall of Yazhou ancient city was rammed earth before the Song Dynasty, but it was changed to brick in the Southern Song Dynasty. After three generations of expansion, it has gradually become a big city. There are three original gates, namely Yangchun Gate (East), Zhenhai Gate (West) and Ningxiumen (South). The existing Wenmingmen is the only relic of the ancient city that has suffered several disasters, and it has been completely renewed after repair. After Wenmingmen, the central axis is Yacheng Gong Xue (closed on Sunday at 9: 00 ~ 17: 00), which is the southernmost Confucius Temple in China. It was founded in the Song Dynasty and was once the highest institution of learning in Qiongnan during the Ming and Qing Dynasties. After more than 700 years of relocation, renovation and expansion, it has become an important landmark for Qionghai to spread Confucianism.
There are many historical sites to visit in this ancient city. Wangying Pagoda, located in the west of Yacheng, is the southernmost ancient pagoda in Hainan, with a height of 7 floors. It is both a Buddhist pagoda and a unique Feng Shui pagoda in Hainan. At the east gate of Yazhou ancient city, there is a row of arcade buildings of the Republic of China that have experienced vicissitudes, preserving the design style of combining East and West. In Baoping Village, southwest of the ancient city, there is a large residential community building in Ming and Qing Dynasties.
The route is recommended for 3 days: on the first day, go to Nansan to pay homage to Guanyin at sea, in the afternoon, go to the ends of the earth or cave, in the evening, come to Coconut Dream Corridor to bathe in the afterglow of sunset, enjoy the beautiful lights of Phoenix Island in Sanya Bay, and in the evening, go to Jiefang Road Pedestrian Street to taste various snacks, or go to the first market to choose ingredients and enjoy a seafood feast.
The next day, I went to Yalong Bay to take a yacht or take part in sea activities, and then I went to Yalong Bay Tropical Paradise Forest Park to climb high and look far, and stayed at the Bird's Nest Hotel for one night. On the third day, I went to Nantian Hot Spring in the Pearl River to wash away the fatigue of the journey, and finally went shopping in Sanya International Duty Free City.
5 days: The first three days together, the fourth day by ferry to Wuzhizhou, back to Houhai Village, Queen Bay, to enjoy the fishing village customs. On the fifth day, arrange a leisure cultural tour, look for the remaining old houses in Yazhou ancient city, or watch an epic performance in Sanya historical area.
