Is a caesarean section good?
First of all, it should be said that caesarean section is not a method of delivery, but a means of solving difficult labor.
The evolution of our lives over millions of years has designed an indispensable program for the birth and growth of every life. If we try to bypass this necessary process in life, we are actually doing a disservice to life. Therefore, if we do not let the child go through the squeezing of uterine contractions and the squeezing of the birth canal, and easily choose a caesarean section, it will be extremely harmful to the child.
The caesarean section rate in the world is 6-8, and the World Health Organization is also actively controlling it. In recent years, the caesarean section rate in China has reached over 60%, which is very scary. The reason is that many parents do not know the dangers of caesarean section to their children.
Caesarean section deprives the child of several of the most primitive learning behaviors
1. Depriving the child of breathing learning
Before the mother’s amniotic fluid breaks, the child has been suspended in the In the amniotic fluid, when the amniotic fluid slowly breaks, the amniotic membrane will stick to the baby, making them uncomfortable and start to resist. At the end of pregnancy, every cell in the uterus is stretched eight times. Any external force may cause a contraction of the uterus managed by the pelvic nerves, commonly known as uterine contractions. Uterine contractions will expel more amniotic fluid, causing the placenta to stick more closely to the baby, making the baby more uncomfortable and more likely to resist. The contractions come in waves, and this squeezing will prompt the baby to come out.
Where to get out? Life has a great memory, which is where I came in and where I left. When the baby is born, the contraction of the mother's uterus and birth canal will squeeze out 1/3 to 1/4 of the body fluid in the baby's lungs, opening up the respiratory tract. In addition, when the baby comes out, the atmospheric pressure will first act on the nasal cavity, and then on the chest and abdominal cavity, so the child has a breathing learning process.
But children born by caesarean section lose this opportunity. When they get angry, they will have respiratory problems, either coughing or wheezing. At this time, they need to take medicine, and most of the medicines used to relieve cough and asthma are central nervous system drugs. Taking too much of an inhibitor will cause side effects, making the brain always depressed and drowsy. If the brain is inhibited too much, it will inevitably become excited, so some children are too "noisy", which is often related to the medicine they take.
2. Deprived of tactile learning
Children born normally develop tactile learning through the tight wrapping of the placenta and the strong pressure of the birth canal. Touch is the largest sensory organ in the human body. These early stimulations allow children to build a map of their bodies in their minds. If this map is not established, it will lead to sensorimotor integration disorder after the child is born, referred to as sensory integration disorder. The vast majority of children with sensory integration disorders are born by caesarean section.
3. Being extremely frightened
The baby was originally suspended in the amniotic fluid and was very comfortable. During the caesarean section, the second assistant in the obstetrics department had to quickly pull the baby out ( Slow pulling can lead to amniotic fluid aspiration pneumonia in newborns). This fright caused the child's adrenaline secretion to be 30 times that of a heart attack patient, and the child "endured" in order to survive.
But this fright will last for the first cycle of life (until seven years old for girls and eight years old for boys). Their sleeping conditions are also different from those of children born naturally. They like to sleep on their stomachs, are often startled, cry suddenly at night, and are not allowed to turn off the lights or close the door. Modern research has found that children born by caesarean section are 10 times more likely to develop schizophrenia than children born naturally.
4. Reduce the immunity and resistance to infection of newborns
Children born by caesarean section are more likely to suffer from infectious diseases, diabetes and cardiovascular disease as adults, and are prone to obesity .
Of course, some babies have to be delivered by caesarean section due to objective factors, which is another matter.
Many injuries suffered at birth are irreversible. Some babies were fine when they were in their mother's womb, but something happened on the day they were born, causing lifelong regret.
