Yang, a native of Bozhou, was a chieftain regime in southwest history. From the third year of Tang Xizong in Tang Dynasty (876), Yang Duan became a hereditary chieftain regime. It was not until the 28th year of Wanli in Ming Dynasty (1600) that Yang was destroyed by the Ming government.
