This building was designed by Zhang Xingbing, a friend of the landlord and the magistrate of Tingzhou. It is magnificent in imitation of western architectural style. The building is surrounded by mountains and waters with beautiful scenery. Due to geomantic reasons, the gatehouse outside the courtyard is rotated at an angle towards the Shuikou. Into the yard, it is a wide front yard (building). The parapet and floor beside the stream are made of river stones, which are exquisite in structure and harmonious with nature.

The front building is a small building with two floors, and the two sides are connected by three horizontal houses; The fifth floor of the back building is connected with two horizontal floors, which constitutes a more defensive high-rise building surrounding layout. In fact, it is a transitional type from a mansion-style earth building to a square building. Nave is a pavilion with brick and wood structure, carved with beams and painted with buildings, exquisite and gorgeous. In nave, the connecting corridor and the front and rear wing rooms on both sides divide the building into six patios, which enriches the space. Separate toilets on both sides of the building to ensure the cleanliness of the building.

According to the landlord Lin family, the landlord's father was once a "court official" in the Qing Dynasty, so he was allowed to build this palace-style residence. The axis of the whole building is symmetrical, and the houses are scattered and magnificent. At the peak, there were 27 households with more than 200 people. The name of the building was also written by Zhang Xingbing, the magistrate of Tingzhou. The couplet "The Heart of Futian, the Light Before Abundance" on both sides not only clarifies the name of the building, but also expresses the pursuit of the landlord.
