There is also a story about the name of Xianggong Tower in Wuping, Longyan. Legend has it that one spring, scholars from Wusuo area gathered here for a spring outing. While climbing the mountain and enjoying the scenery, everyone wrote poems and handed them to the raft for reading. At that time, I was very interested and agreed to print these pairs of poems into a book. When the literati wrote down the location of the spring outing, they found that the mountain had no specific name. After discussion, it was named "xianggong village", which means that literati (xianggong) gathered on this mountain. From then on, the broken tail tower on the mountain is also called Xianggong Tower.

Longyan Wuping Xianggong Tower was listed as a county-level cultural relics protection unit on 1987.
