Chickens like the performance of their owners.

The most obvious manifestation that chicks like their masters is that they will always follow them.

If the first thing a chicken sees when it comes out of its shell is a person, it will take that person as its mother. In animal behavior, this is called printing with learning, which is an important learning form for newborn animals. It can make the chicks who have no self-defense ability rely on their mothers closely, thus ensuring the chicks' adequate food supply and shelter needs. The owner can feed the chickens and take care of their growth.

If the chicken lives with its owner for a long time and every day, it will feel that the owner is very good and can be relied on. Insecure chickens will trust and like their masters, and will run after them. Chickens can recognize their own names. When the host calls the chicken's name, the chicken will run to the host excitedly. If a stranger calls the chicken's name, the chicken will not pay attention.

Matters needing attention in raising chickens at home

During raising chickens, it should be ventilated for at least 2-3 hours at noon every day, so that the air in the chicken house can be ventilated every morning and evening when it is hot in summer. Long-term closed ventilation will lead to the odor of chicken manure and feed, breed bacterial infectious diseases, increase the probability of chicken getting sick, and even lead to death and great losses.

Chickens live in henhouses for a long time, and the feces in cages should be cleaned every 1-2 days to avoid the accumulation and fermentation of chicken feces. In addition, before feeding every day, the residue in the trough should be cleaned up. If it is not cleaned for a long time, the trough will become moldy, resulting in a large number of chickens getting sick and dying.

In addition to cleaning up feces and residues, chickens should be disinfected in time. The trough and sink shall be disinfected once a week, the chicken coop shall be disinfected at least once a month, and the chicken coop shall be thoroughly disinfected once a quarter, so as to kill bacteria from the root and ensure the safety of chickens to the maximum extent.
