When tourists board the island, the first thing they see is the "Three Sages' Tomb" (Weizi's Tomb, Mu Yi's Tomb and Zhang Liangmu's Tomb) and the Flying Tigers Monument. Weizi's Tomb is located in the highest place on the island, and people on the island commonly call it "Phoenix Terrace". Mu Yi's tomb is about 1 km away from Weizi's tomb, which is located on the east side of Weizi's tomb. Zhang Liangmu is located 2 kilometers south of Weizi's tomb. Zhang Liangmu and Weizi Tomb are both cultural relics protection units in Shandong Province. The Flying Tigers Monument is located in the Anti-Japanese Heroes Memorial Park on the west side of Weishan Island Township People's Government. Built in 1994. This is a granite building in the shape of a sailboat. The monument is 37.77 meters high. On the front of the commemorative medallion, there are eight characters of "Flying Tigers Monument" inscribed by former Vice President Wang Zhen, and on the back, there is an inscription by former Shandong Provincial Party Secretary Liang Buting.
Climb high, stop at the top of the mountain, and have a panoramic view of distant mountains and near water. Always see the ever-changing scenery; At dawn, the lake shines with golden and white sails; The sun sets, the sun is full of water, and the mountain island is inlaid with gold. In early spring, the lake is clear and blue, and the small fishing sail seems to slide on the silver wire; In midsummer, the lotus leaves under the island are like umbrellas, and the bright red lotus flowers reflect the sun, which is refreshing; In the autumn season, the calluses are green, the grass is golden, the water is blue, the fishing songs are melodious, and the boats picking diamonds and lotus flowers shuttle through the lake, which is a scene of bumper harvest; In the cold winter, the vast lake is frosty and silent. If it is a frozen lake, I occasionally see a boat pulling an ice sled and gently sliding to the ice, or hunting ducks or chiseling ice for winter fishing. ...
It is refreshing to see the lake on the island. Take a colorful speedboat and shoot in the middle of the lake. The sails are like arrows and the waves are like snow, which makes people more excited. If you take a boat and wander in the clear green waves, leisurely, reeds touching your face, lotus holding hands, and occasionally throwing a lotus shell into the water, there will be groups of whitebait competing for food ... even more wonderful. If you walk 6 kilometers to the west, you can still find the antiquity on the water and the tranquility under the water. This ancient city, which has been submerged in water, was the fief of Hou Zhangliang in Han Dynasty.
In addition, the Millennium Sophora japonica in Gounan Village at the southwest end of the island is also worth visiting. It is old and vigorous, with dead branches and green leaves. In the movie Flying Tigers, soldier Xiaopo sat under an old tree in the sunset, playing the lute and singing happily with his comrades: "The sun in the west is about to set, Weishan Lake is quiet ..." A group of shots were taken under this old tree.
