In ancient times, Qin Tianjian observed a wide range of weather phenomena, including astrology. According to the records in ancient astronomical literature, Qin's observations include five planets in the solar system, 28 stars, snow clouds and other weather phenomena, and the observation range is very wide, which is beyond the knowledge of ordinary people. Take observing the moon as an example. Which planet has an eclipse, the change of the revolution speed of the moon, the change of light and dark colors, and so on? Different phenomena correspond to different meanings and have different interpretations. This shows that the astronomical institutions in Qin dynasty are similar to today's astronomical institutions, and there are many complicated astronomical phenomena to be observed.
Although there is no clear and universal explanation standard for such a complex astronomical phenomenon, we can find from historical books that it is reasonable as long as it is based on astronomical astrology theory and feasible. Although there is no unified interpretation standard, comets are often regarded as ominous. The simultaneous appearance of five planets in a small area of the sky is considered as a sign of regime change, and staying on Mars is considered as a sign of catastrophe. Because ancient astronomical observation served politics, it also became a tool of political struggle, and even fabricated astronomical phenomena for politics, which became a means for villains to seize power.
Even so? Where is Qin? It runs through the feudal monarchy in China and shows its extraordinary position in history.
