Tiandong County, located in the west of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is a county under the jurisdiction of Baise City. Its territory is quite like a giant mango, which coincides with being named "the hometown of mango in China". The county governs 9 towns, 1 township and 167 administrative villages (streets and communities) with a total area of 28 16 square kilometers. It is a multi-ethnic county with Zhuang as the main body. Tiandong County, located in the abdomen of Youjiang Valley, is the birthplace of proletarian revolutionaries such as Deng Xiaoping who led and launched the baise uprising. It is the only rural financial reform pilot county in China and the only national rural reform experimental area in Guangxi.
