1, color:
Color is the key to the quality evaluation of jadeite. Usually, the color of jadeite is evaluated from the following aspects in business:
Thick: refers to the high color saturation of jadeite. The higher the saturation of the same hue, the darker the color, the lower the saturation and the lighter the color. There are many colors of emeralds, and green is the most important color. Good emeralds require emerald with appropriate shades.
Yang: It means that the brightness of jadeite is relatively high, and bright jadeite gives people a feeling of youthful exuberance.
Positive: indicates that the hue of jadeite should be positive, and there is no other hue. The color saturation of orthochromatic jadeite can be high or low, that is, the color can be thick or light, but the main color tone of the color must be orthochromatic, that is, pure spectral color. For example, pure green jade should be positive green or emerald green; Purple jade requires pure purple.
Emerald usually has some colors, usually blue, yellow or gray. If there is a color cast, it is better to be yellow than blue. If the emerald contains a yellow tone (that is, yellowish), it is called "color yang" or "color tender"; If green contains blue tones (that is, blue), it is called "old color" or "hard color"; If the hue of jadeite contains blue-gray or black-gray tone, which makes the green of jadeite dark and opaque, it is called "color shadow".
Uniformity: refers to the uniformity of jadeite color. Emerald is an aggregate of the same or different minerals, and its colors are mostly distributed in points, filaments and blocks, so it is difficult to achieve uniformity. Therefore, the more uniform the color of jadeite, the higher the value.
Harmony: refers to the harmony of different colors of jadeite. Emeralds often appear in different color combinations, such as "Spring Ribbon" and "Fu Lushou". Different TINT provides rich imagination space for the artistic creation of jadeite.
2. Structure:
The structure of jadeite refers to the size, shape and combination of mineral particles, which directly affects the "germplasm", "water head", luster and hardness of jadeite. Fine-grained and closely combined jade is moist and delicate, which is a necessary condition for high-grade jade; On the contrary, the quality of jadeite with coarse particles and loose structure will decrease obviously.
3. Transparency:
The transparency of jadeite is also called "water head". Transparency is often expressed as "long", "full" and "short" in the industry, which is called "long head", "full head" or "short head"; It can also be expressed by "one division of water" and "two division of water". Most jadeites are opaque to translucent, and transparent jadeites are extremely rare. The more transparent jadeite is, the higher its quality is.
Usually, when judging physical objects, two or three pieces are combined to plant water, that is, "glass seeds, ice seeds, waxy seeds, gold seeds, hibiscus seeds, white seeds, bean seeds and stone seeds".
4. Clarity:
Refers to the aesthetic factors of jadeite, including dirty cracking, the so-called "cracking". The existence of these "cracks" will affect the beauty of jadeite, and the higher the purity, the higher the quality of jadeite.
5. Cutter (carver):
It refers to the selection design, cutting ratio, carving process and polishing process of jadeite. For plain jadeite, the cutting ratio is moderate and the polishing is excellent; For the quality evaluation of jade carving products, craftsmen's ingenious ideas and skillful skills will play a decisive role. In addition, famous works and jadeites with cultural value will have more added value and appreciation space.
6. Weight:
There is no strict weight limit on the value of jadeite products, but in the case of the same or similar quality such as color, texture and transparency, the larger the volume and weight, the higher the value.
If the landlord is satisfied with the purchase, it is recommended to upload pictures or small videos. According to the above six criteria, comprehensive evaluation is appropriate.
