General situation of Qianjiang main stream

Qianjiang, commonly known as Beijiang. In ancient times, it was called Tanshui, Minshui, Shallow Water, Liu Shui or Datengjiang. The main stream of Qianjiang River starts at the confluence of Sanjiangkou and Liujiang River in Shilong Town, Xiangzhou County, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, and ends at Yujiang River Estuary in Sanjiaozui Town, Guiping County. The upper reaches are Hongshui River and the lower reaches are Jiangxun River. * * * The total length is122km, the average river gradient is 0.0625‰, the catchment area (excluding Liujiang) is 256 1 km2, and the drainage area is more than 65438km2. Qianjiang section flows through wuxuan county and Guiping counties and cities.

The Qianjiang section of the river is narrow and curved, with 29 beach hazards. Among them, Ma Le to Nutan is the famous Dateng Gorge, with a total length of 44 kilometers and 10 beaches. The current is so fast that sailing is very difficult. The deepest pool in the canyon is 85 meters below sea level.
