Who is the Cai Clan Ancestral Hall in Nanhai Heshun?

The Cai Clan Ancestral Hall in Heshun, Nanhai is the only one of Cai. Cai Weiyi, the ancestor of the Cai family in Hainan, was a civil servant. In 1165 in the Southern Song Dynasty, he was demoted to Dieli Village (now Yongtan Village) and made a living by teaching. According to legend, his students saw several turtles carrying a dead turtle to what would become a cemetery and burying it in the ground. The students told the teacher about the situation, and Mr. Cai immediately bought this Feng Shui treasure. In 1200, Cai Weiyi was buried here after his death. Some of his descendants were also buried here, and a Cai family ancestral hall was built next to the tomb. Every year on March 15th of the lunar calendar, descendants of the Hainan Cai family gather here to hold a grand ancestor worship ceremony, which is very lively and crowded. Therefore, the Cai clan ancestral hall in Nanhai Heshun is the only one in Cai.
