Temple houses and even the imperial palace are all must-see places, but do you think that there are actually many "unrealistic" ancient buildings in China? Generally, the houses in small villages are small houses with one floor or at most two floors. However, these ancient villages often spend huge sums of money, and the whole village raises funds to build seven-story "towers" outside the village. This is equivalent to some ordinary citizens collectively raising funds to build a high-rise auditorium today, which is by no means a simple project. But the expensive "pagoda" was built outside the village, which seems to be a stupa with no practical use.
There are many examples at all times, at home and abroad. However, arched doors, gatehouses and even the buildings of Emperor Jianhua are more "image" than practical projects, which are numerous in China. After careful analysis, these buildings are similar to the "Grand Yamen" and the Grand Square being built in many towns and villages in China today. This seems to be related to the fact that China people prefer "image" to reality. But these ancient buildings have an extra "level"-they are all related to Feng Shui.
"Tower", "Building" and "Pavilion" all attract "Qi" in auspicious positions, hoping to attract "Wenchang" Qi to the ancestral temple, library and Confucius Temple in the village, so that the children in the village can become smart and study hard, and some people will take the senior high school entrance examination and increase the "social" status of the village.
As for the "archway", because there is no "door" under the shelf, it is the "organ" of "satisfaction".
"Hua Biao" actually originated from the wooden posts tied to horses in front of ancient houses. Because the ancients used horseback riding as a status symbol of high officials and rich people. So further on, the canopy is the symbol in front of the emperor. The ancient emperor's "gate que" is the "super version" of this "symbol".
Today, all cities and towns in China are planning and reforming to meet the needs of rural urbanization, but occasionally there are many "jubilant" examples. Everyone worships foreign things and flatters foreign countries. There may be dozens of private houses like the "White House" all over the country.
This "tradition" of loving "image" is related to "potential" in Feng Shui. However, the "situation" must be matched with "regulating gas" to qualify. "Inhale" and "aspirate" are abstract.
The ancients could build towers and archways nearby at will, but today, ordinary citizens have almost no control over the outdoors except for renovating the interior of their houses, so it is more difficult to change Feng Shui for some defects today than in ancient times.
