South Shaolin Temple in Putian, Fujian 1: South Shaolin Temple, formerly known as "Lin", is located in Jiulian Mountain Village, Xitianwei Town, Licheng District, Putian City, Fujian Province. Founded in the first year of Chen Yongding in the Southern Dynasties (557). It is the birthplace of Nanquan and one of the representative temples of Zen.
2. Zhennanguo Temple in Fengze District, Quanzhou City, Fujian Province: Zhenguozhen Temple, commonly known as South Shaolin, is said to be the birthplace of martial arts in southern China. Located in Dongyue Mountain, Shaolin Road, Fengze District, Quanzhou City, Fujian Province. It is said that the temple was built because it saved Zhikong, one of the thirteen stick monks in the Tang Dynasty, from entering Fujian.
3. Shaolin Temple in Fuqing City, Fujian Province: The South Shaolin Temple was destroyed in the Tang Dynasty War. 1On June 4th, 993, archaeologists discovered the site of Shaolin Temple in East Jang Jin Village, Fuqing City, Fujian Province, and found a large number of precious cultural relics.
