Taizhou is a young coastal city on the Gold Coast of China. It is the place where the first ray of sunshine shines in the new century. It is located in the central coastal area of Zhejiang, the southernmost tip of Shanghai Economic Zone. Taizhou city center is located at 122 degrees east longitude and 28 degrees north latitude, belonging to subtropical monsoon climate type. Jiaojiang, Huangyan and Luqiao are set up in the urban area.
