Bird Paradise, formerly known as "Bird Wharf", is located in Tianma River, Tianma Village, seven kilometers south of Xinhui City, Guangdong Province. On the sandbar of Tianma River, there is an ancient banyan tree with a tree age of over 500 years. The swaying banyan leaves cover more than 20 acres of river surface, and the height of the tree is about 15 meters. The branches of banyan trees have beautiful bearded air roots, which lignify and grow into new branches after landing. On the new trunk, new aerial roots have grown and become complex and chaotic banyan trees. In this bush, there are more than ten kinds of birds, the most striking of which are white cranes and grey horse cranes (that is, night herons, commonly known as visiting birds). White cranes come out at night, gray cranes come out at dusk and return in the morning. Early in the morning and one night, the cranes came out and returned, circling and dancing, covering the sky, twittering, singing and laughing, which became a spectacle.

Beautiful legend

More than 500 years ago, there was a severe drought every year in Tianma village, and the farmland dried up and the crops failed. In order to fight drought, the villagers opened an artificial river, Tianma River, to irrigate farmland with water from the Pearl River. However, that year did not improve. Local influential people insisted that the Tianma River was cut off, and the geomantic omen was cut off, forcing villagers to stop the river. The villagers, with tears in their eyes, dumped the selected soil in the middle of the river by boat, which soon became a mound and an island in the middle of the river. At that time, a villager stuck a banyan branch on the mound to tie the boat. Unexpectedly, the banyan branches took root and sprouted in the second year. Because of abundant water, banyan trees grow taller and taller, and many air roots hang down from the branches and drill into the soil every year. A few days later, the buried roots will grow new branches, the branches will thicken and many air roots will hang down ... so year after year, there are countless trunks. After hundreds of years of growth, a tree has grown into a forest, covering the whole island, with an area of 18 mu. It looks like a virgin forest at close range and an oasis floating on the water at a distance, which is really a wonder of the South China.

Features of scenic spots

Most of the birds in the bird of paradise are wild egrets, as well as hairy chickens and horses ... Egrets get up in the morning and return at dusk, and grey egrets return to their graves. They are orderly in time, do not interfere with each other, and are very graceful. Every morning in the mist, thousands of soul birds croak, dance and soar in the air, full of wild interest, becoming a semi-scene; That harmonious sound of nature, "the world should hear it several times." In addition to watching and listening to birds, you can also enjoy the beautiful scenery where the green trees and clear water contrast with the blue sky and Bai Niao, and enjoy the riverside leisure with the characteristics of Lingnan water town, giving you a brand-new feeling ... "After all, there is a paradise on earth"!

We had dinner in Chen's primary school. The fever has dropped. The sun went down, leaving only a brilliant Xia Hong on the horizon, on the top of the mountain and on the treetops.

"Let's go boating!" Chen suggested. We stood by the pool in front of the school and watched the mountain view.

"good!" Other friends said happily.

We walked along a gravel road and soon reached the river. There is a thatched pavilion there. Passing through Shui Ge, we found some boats under two big trees by the river.

We jumped on the boat one by one. A friend untied the rope and picked up a bamboo pole. The boat moved slowly towards the middle of the river.

Three friends rowed the boat, and Ye and I sat on the boat and looked around.

There stands a tower on the hillside in the distance, and many green trees embrace it. There are few towers like this near here. This is my friend Ye's hometown.

The river is wide, and there are no waves on the white water. The ship sailed calmly on the water. Three paddles paddle regularly in the water.

In one place, the river narrows. Clusters of green leaves stretch out to the water. The leaves are lovely green. These are many lush banyan trees, but I can't see where the trunk is.

When I said many banyan trees, my mistakes were corrected by my friends at once. One friend said there was only one banyan tree, and another friend said there were two banyan trees. I have seen many big banyan trees, but it is the first time for me to see such a big banyan tree.

Our boat is getting closer to the banyan tree. I had a chance to see its true face: this is a big tree with countless branches, and it has taken root again, and many roots hang down to the ground and go into the soil. Some branches hang down to the water, and from a distance, they look like a big tree lying on the water.

It's the season of lush foliage again (the trees have already produced small fruits, and many of them have fallen off). This banyan tree seems to show us all its vitality. There are so many green leaves, one on top of the other, leaving no gaps. Green is shining before our eyes, as if every leaf has a new life trembling, this beautiful southern tree!

The boat anchored under the tree for a while, and the shore was wet, so we didn't go up. Friends say this is "a paradise for birds". There are many birds nesting in this tree, and farmers are not allowed to catch them. I seem to hear some birds flapping their wings, but when my eyes look closely, I can't see the shadow of a bird. Only countless roots stand on the ground, like many wooden stakes. The ground is wet, so the river often washes ashore at high tide. There is not a bird in "Bird Paradise", I think. The ship has left. A friend paddled the boat and slowly flowed to the middle of the river.

There are several litchi trees on the path by the river. Many red fruits are hung on the green leaves. That's where our ship flows. A friend picked up an paddle and rowed the boat into a small ditch. By the side of the path, the boat stopped and we all jumped on the shore.

Two friends quickly climbed the tree and dropped some lychees with leaves from the tree. Chen and I stood under the tree and picked them up. When they went down to the field, we all ate lychees and walked back to the boat.

The next day, we went boating to Ye's hometown, where there are mountains and towers. Starting from Chen's primary school, we passed the "bird paradise" again.

This time it was in the morning, and the sun shone on the water and the treetops. Everything looks bright. Our boat also stayed under the tree for a while.

It was very quiet at first. Suddenly a bird called. When our friend Chen clapped his hands, we saw a big bird flying, and then we saw the second and third one. Let's keep clapping. Soon, the forest became very lively. Birds are everywhere, birds are everywhere. Big, small, flowery and black, some are standing on the branches screaming, some are flying, and some are flapping their wings.

I watched carefully. My eyes are really flooded. I saw this clearly, missed that, saw that, and the third flew away. A thrush flew out, surprised our applause, flew into the Woods, stood on a twig and sang excitedly. Its songs are very nice.

"Let's go." Ye urged me.

When the boat flowed to the countryside under the tower, I looked back at the lush banyan trees left behind me. I'm a little nostalgic. My eyes deceived me yesterday. "Bird's Paradise" is indeed a bird's paradise!

[People's Education Edition Volume 1 1 text]

After we had dinner, the fever dropped. The sun set on the hillside, leaving only the splendid Xia Hong on the horizon.

We crossed a gravel road and soon reached the river. Under the big tree by the river, we found several boats.

We jumped on the boat one by one. A friend untied the rope and picked up a bamboo pole. The boat moved slowly to the center of the river.

The river is very wide, and there is no wave on the white water. The ship moved calmly on the water. Three paddles paddle regularly in the water, which sounds like a piece of music.

In one place, the river narrows. Clusters of leaves reach out to the water, and the leaves are really green and lovely. There are many lush banyan trees, and I can't see where the trunk is.

When I said many banyan trees, my friends immediately corrected my mistakes. One friend said there was only one banyan tree, and another friend said it was two jurassics. I have seen many banyan trees, and this is the first time I have seen such a big banyan tree.

Our ship is approaching the banyan tree. I have a chance to see it for what it really is. It is really a big tree, with countless branches and countless branches. There are countless branches, which take root again, and many roots hang straight down the ground and extend into the soil. Some branches hang down to the water, and from a distance, they look like a big tree lying on the water.

The banyan tree is in full bloom, and it seems to show us all its vitality. There are so many green leaves, one on top of the other, leaving no gaps. Green is shining in our eyes, as if every new life is shaking. This beautiful southern tree.

The ship anchored under the tree for a while. The coast was wet and we didn't go up. Friends say this is "a paradise for birds". There are many birds nesting in this tree, and farmers are not allowed to catch them. I seem to hear the sound of several birds flapping their wings, and their roots stand on the ground like many stakes. The land is wet, so the river may wash ashore at high tide. There are not any birds in the bird's paradise, and I can't help thinking so. So the boat left, a friend paddled, and the boat slowly moved to the middle of the river.

The next day, we rowed to a friend's hometown, which is a place with mountains and towers. From school, we passed the "Bird Paradise".

This time it was in the morning. When the sun shines on the water, everything on the treetops looks brighter. We moored the boat under the tree for a while.

It was quiet around at first. Suddenly a bird called. We clapped our hands and saw a big bird flying. Then I saw the second and the third. We continued to clap our hands, and the tree became lively. Birds are everywhere, birds are everywhere. Big, small, flowery and black, some are standing on the branches screaming, some are flying, and some are flapping their wings.

I watched intently, my eyes at a loss. I saw this clearly, missed that again, saw one that, and the other flew away. A thrush flew out, scared by our applause, and flew into the leaves. Standing on a twig, shouting excitedly. That song is really nice.

When the boat rowed to the countryside under the tower, I looked back at the lush banyan trees left behind, a little nostalgic. It was my eyes that deceived me yesterday. That "bird paradise" is indeed a bird paradise!

[Textbook Description]

First, read the text for the first time and manage the "clues".

When talking about the task of reading teaching, Ye Shengtao clearly pointed out that it is the primary task of reading teaching to grasp the author's ideas and sort out the clues of the text. I use the following steps to complete the teaching:

1, leading the question, prompting the meaning of the question: What does the "bird's paradise" in the text mean? Where is it? Why is it called "bird's paradise"? By asking questions, students' thinking is activated and their interest is stimulated.

2, first reading, clues. On the basis of students' questions, let the students perceive the text as a whole through self-reading, and pay attention to the following questions: When has the author been to birds of paradise several times and what did he see each time? This problem is not difficult, and students are fully capable of solving it by themselves. Teachers let students study freely and help individual students with difficulties. Through self-study, students not only read the text smoothly, but also master the author's thoughts, clarify the clues of the text, and achieve the goal of perceiving the text as a whole.

Second, study independently and talk about feelings.

The text Bird's Paradise has simple language, beautiful artistic conception and sincere feelings, which is very suitable for students to experience and comprehend by themselves. The focus of reading and writing training in this unit is no longer to distinguish between static and dynamic things, but to have your own opinions when reading. This change further embodies the concept of respecting students, promoting democracy and publicizing individuality in Chinese Curriculum Standards, giving students more space and time to ponder and feel for themselves. Therefore, I guide students to learn like this:

1, grasp the paragraph and talk about feelings. On the basis of students' overall perception of the text, encourage students to speak freely, express their opinions, talk about which time they like to go to birds of paradise, and state the reasons for their preference.

2. Grasp sentences and talk about feelings. On the basis of students talking about favorite paragraphs, first guide students to find their favorite sentences, read them repeatedly, savor them carefully, and look for beauty between the lines of the article. Then organize students to discuss, talk about feelings and opinions, reproduce the vibrant banyan tree, reproduce the birds singing on the branches, and feel the beautiful picture, beautiful rhythm, beautiful language, beautiful life, beautiful behavior and beautiful emotions. ...

3. Grasp reading and promote sentiment. This is a good text to train students to read aloud. In teaching, guide students to read. Ask students to choose their favorite paragraphs, read them aloud, and feel whether they understand the author's feelings, then read them in groups, and recommend students who read well to read them in front of the whole class.

Third, take the initiative to explore and realize "environmental protection".

Bird's Paradise is indeed a masterpiece of quality and beauty, especially today when "it is everyone's responsibility to protect the environment" is strongly advocated. In teaching, guide students to explore and see the essence through superficial phenomena: why is this a paradise for birds? This can not only arouse students' enthusiasm for inquiry, but also enhance students' awareness of environmental protection, killing two birds with one stone.

1, the ecological environment here is good.

The environment here is beautiful. At the beginning of the article, several natural paragraphs show us a summer evening. It's not only quiet here, but also the sound of running water aroused by paddles. The scenery is charming, and the splendid Xia Hong is still in the horizon.

The climate here is warm, the land is moist, and the rivers are vertical and horizontal, which is conducive to the growth of all things, so the big banyan tree is so vibrant and vibrant.

There are abundant resources here. Because of the warm climate, all kinds of insects thrive, so birds are rich in food.

The banyan trees here are very big. The big banyan tree is flourishing and flourishing, which is very suitable for birds to inhabit and multiply here. This is a veritable bird paradise.

People have a strong sense of protection.

People here don't allow people to catch birds, so birds are protected and can live and reproduce carefree.

Fourth, practice comprehensively and practice "ability".

Chinese curriculum standards tell us that we should devote ourselves to the formation and development of students' Chinese literacy, strive to embody the practicality and comprehensiveness of Chinese in teaching, and guide students to learn to collect, use and communicate in practice. The lesson "Bird Paradise" has a comprehensive practical assignment: "Bird Paradise" has now become a tourist attraction. Please write a brief comment to the tour guide according to the content of the text and try to collect some relevant materials. When teaching, I designed it like this:

1. Collect information and practice "consultation". The collection methods can be varied, such as surfing the internet, going to the library, watching TV, investigating and visiting, etc.

2. Learn to write comments and practice "exercises". Match the video of "Bird's Paradise" with appropriate commentary: learn to write a commentary based on the materials collected by yourself, and write clearly the identity of the tour guide, the place to go and the characteristics of this place, and write it clearly and vividly.

3. Learn to be a tour guide and practice "communication". This is an extension of writing comments, with the aim of enabling students to learn to cooperate and communicate with others in practice. Students are required to form a tour group freely, introduce themselves and try to be a tour guide, and accompany them all the way. When the class selected excellent tour guides, the students were full of interest and the atmosphere was warm. In this comprehensive practical activity, students' abilities in all aspects have been greatly improved.

Guide words of bird paradise

Dear tourists:

Hello, welcome to the paradise of birds. I am your tour guide, and I will show you the beautiful scenery of bird paradise.

Does the center of the river you see now feel like a turtle? It's not actually a turtle. But a big banyan tree with dense branches and leaves. This banyan tree brings a lot of convenience to people's lives. In spring and autumn, it always puts people first. In spring, it protects people from the rain. In summer, provide people with shade; Autumn is a beautiful scenery worth watching; In winter, it provides shelter for people. What a loyal banyan tree!

Did you hear that? There are birds everywhere. Listen, that sweet song is coming from all directions. This is really a veritable "bird paradise"! This is a big family of birds. Did you get a look at him? A kingfisher is waiting for a small fish to surface on a reed pole! Guess what? There are many birds here: sparrows, thrushes, woodpeckers, blackbirds, cuckoos, egrets, nightingales and so on. Did you hear that? Now, all the birds are singing in unison They build their nests here and enjoy happiness, feel happiness, understand freedom and soar in this "paradise".

Unconsciously, have you been intoxicated by this beautiful scenery? As time goes by, we will leave. Although there is still disappointment, I hope all the group members can feel the beauty of all this with their hearts. Next, we will be greeted by a new day and a new landscape.

Teaching record of bird paradise

First, reading experience

Teacher: Last class, the students had a preliminary understanding of the text, but everyone felt differently. You can read the most beautiful and vivid words to your deskmate. Listen to the students and think about which paragraphs you like best in your deskmate's reading.

(Choose beautiful paragraphs and read and evaluate each other at the same table)

Teacher: Which groups of students will show us?

Group a:

Boy: (Read paragraph 8)

Girl: I think he reads fluently, but when dealing with feelings, the feelings in front of this sentence are too strong to recite. (Laughter)

Teacher: Students, it's amazing. It was an expert review as soon as it came up. I think she speaks so well that she must read well. Please let her read it.

Girl: (Read the eighth paragraph shyly, and the students will applaud spontaneously after reading it)

Boy: She reads deeply, please, much better than me!

Thank you, girl.

Teacher: I especially admire Gang D, a male classmate. He can say "much better than me" to his deskmate in an appreciative tone. Learning to appreciate is the beginning of progress. Let's applaud him, too. (Teachers and students applaud together)

Group b:

Boy: (Read the last paragraph)

Girl: I think he read the last exclamation well. "when the sentence on the ship ..." melting tree "was read too lightly. In order to set off the exclamations at the back, you should speak slowly.

Teacher: You try.

Girl: (Read the last paragraph)

Boy: Her speech speed and pause are good. She reads exclamations with emotion. I want to learn from her.

Group c:

Boy: (Read the last paragraph)

Girl: I think feelings are read out, but "The boat … Drift away" can be read more slowly.

Teacher: Did the students find out? Her comments are very strategic: first affirm his advantages, and then point out his shortcomings, which makes people feel comfortable.

Girl: (Read paragraph 8)

Boy: She reads well, reading her feelings, which makes people feel that the big lattice tree is full of vitality.

Teacher: She shows the vitality of Shu Ge.

Teacher: These students choose to write about melting trees. Have you chosen to read and write about birds?

Health: (read paragraph 12)

Health: I read very well and feel very much.

Second, independent perception

Teacher: Through reading aloud, we feel that the big lattice tree is so full of vitality and the birds are so full of vitality. If students were asked to choose between the two, would you choose a tree or a bird? Please make a decision.

(Students choose XXX)

Teacher: Students who choose "Tree" should read paragraphs 7 and 8 of the natural paragraph.

(All students read together)

Teacher: For bird selection, please read paragraphs 12 and 13.

(All students read together)

Teacher: In fact, you have already had your first contest before you know it. Have you ever thought about it? There will be a second round of contest to see who is better, the big lattice tree or the bird. Students who like "trees" and "birds" should draw a clear line: "birds" go that way and "trees" go this way.

(Students change places and concentrate)

Teacher: Now, please "Tree" and "Bird" carefully taste the paragraphs describing themselves, find out the words that can describe their own characteristics and write them on the blackboard respectively.

After reading aloud and communicating, the students scrambled to write words on the stage. )

Teacher: Now both "Tree" and "Bird" have written their own words on the blackboard. Do you find some words inappropriate here? Inappropriate ones should be revised, and duplicate ones should be deleted.

Teacher: Just now, we were in charge of our own affairs. We wrote words that we thought were appropriate. Now, can we organize these words and introduce yourselves in the first person?

(Student preparation, group discussion and communication)

Teacher: Would you please let the tree come first?

Health: A large lattice tree with lush leaves, bright colors and countless branches. Birds can't live without big lattice trees.

Teacher: It may be better to introduce it like this: "We are branches and leaves …" (The teacher pronounced "we" as an accent, implying the change of students' roles. )

Health: I am a big plaid tree in the south of China. I have countless branches, and the branches are so lush. My color is bright, and every leaf is shining, as if a new life is shaking. I have strong vitality. Without me, our lovely friend Bird can't live.

Teacher: "Bird", come up!

Two girls: (a) I'm smart. (2) I am lively and lovely. We have beautiful songs and beautiful feathers. Without our lovely birds, Shu Ge would not have such a strong vitality.

Two boys: We are birds in the south, with bright feathers, euphemistic songs, smart, lively and lovely. Without our lovely figure, no one would go to see the lattice tree.

Teacher: I heard that everyone went to see the big lattice tree. That's for them. (For the students in the "Tree" group) Do you agree?

Many "trees": I disagree.

Two girls: we are trees in the south, and we have lush branches and leaves, which allow birds to nest and live; We have lush leaves that can shelter the birds from the wind and rain. We are the foundation of birds' survival. Birds can't live without our big lattice tree. We are a paradise for birds.

Teacher: What a poetic expression! Shu Ge lived poetically in this space. The teacher wants to ask, what do you think?

Health: Just now, the "birds" said that people would not visit us without their lovely figures. Miss Li, you also said that people regard us as "birds". I think this is wrong. Because we are also beautiful and full of artistic sense.

Third, transposition integration

Teacher: Please think about it. What is the relationship between trees and birds in this text?

Health: I think trees and horses should live in harmony, just like flowers and green leaves. Flowers will look more beautiful with green leaves as a foil.

Student: I agree with what Mr. Gang D said. I think the big lattice tree and the bird are friends and very close.

Health: large lattice trees are the basis of birds' survival. Birds inhabit the big lattice tree, which adds color to the big lattice tree and makes it full of vitality. I think horses and lattice trees are interdependent.

Teacher: You are not only good at listening, but also good at thinking.

Health: I think horses and lattice trees are inseparable. Where there are trees, there are nests and birds. Without birds, trees would have no vitality.

Health: Trees and birds are inseparable. Without birds, trees will soon grow old. If there is no big lattice tree, birds can't sing beautiful songs.

Teacher: It can be said that trees are young because of birds and birds are lovely because of trees!

Health: If the large lattice tree is a beautiful painting, it would be more perfect to have birds in it.

Health: I think if the tree is compared to a person's body, then the bird is the soul of this person.

Teacher: Both Tree and Bird sincerely thank you. You gave us too many surprises. Students, trees and birds are inseparable. Why do you keep this line? We should appreciate each other.

Teacher: With this understanding, the "tree" may feel better when reading and writing birds. Similarly, the part of "bird" reading and writing trees will be more innovative.

(The "tree" reads and writes the natural section of the bird, and the "bird" reads and writes the natural section of the tree)

Teacher: What's your new feeling?

Health: I think birds are really lively and lovely. Their songs are so crisp and beautiful. I think trees will be more lively and interesting with birds.

Health: I think the lush foliage of the Great Harmony gives us room for birds to live. The big lattice tree nurtures us and cares about us. We should thank the big lattice tree.

Health: I think these birds really have beautiful feathers, beautiful songs, lively and lovely, and smart. I think if they are shaping the soul for the lattice tree, they should be shaping the soul of a lively and innocent child.

Health: After reading this passage, I feel as if I were under a very beautiful and lush melting tree, listening to the birds singing, and I have an immersive feeling.

Health: The bird is lovely, and the big lattice tree is beautiful, just like a beautiful landscape painting. If there is an opportunity, I must go and see it, and let this beautiful scene stay in my heart forever.

Health: I wish I had the same pleasure.

Health: I don't like writing about scenery very much. I didn't care about this big lattice tree at first, but now I think this big lattice tree is our real home. We can't live without it!

Teacher: "I don't know the true face of Lushan Mountain, but I am only in this mountain." And just now you already know the true face of Lushan Mountain, which is great! Mutual appreciation itself is a harmonious beauty!

Fourth, expand the experience.

Teacher: If you are a little thrush in the text, what do you want to sing? It can be expressed in various ways, such as writing small poems, writing lyrics and drawing pictures. (Students cooperate independently. After about 10 minutes, students will perform on stage. )

Teacher: Students' imagination is very rich and their creativity is really strong. I want to end this lesson with a famous saying by the German poet Holderlin, "Man lives poetically on the earth 1".
