Hebi legend?

Hebi City, located in the northern part of Henan Province, China, is named after the legend "Crane perches on the south mountain cliff". Approved by the State Council, it was established in March 1957, and it is one of the municipalities in Henan province. It has jurisdiction over two counties (Xunxian and Qixian), three districts (qibin district, Shancheng and Heshan) and Qibin Economic and Technological Development Zone, with a total area of 2 182 square kilometers and a total population of 1.43 million (in 2006).

Crane has been a symbol of beauty and auspiciousness since ancient times. The place where cranes fly is undoubtedly what the world yearns for. Hebi, once the hometown of cranes, is recorded in the history books as "an ancient crane perches on the south cliff", so the beautiful name Hebi is a household name in China.

There is a visiting mountain in the south of Hebi Town, north of Hebi City, which is named after visiting the son who was mutilated by Yin. Locals usually call it Nanshan. Although this mountain is not a strange mountain, it has Taihang Mountain in the west, endless plains in the east, gurgling rivers in the north and beautiful hills in the south. Historical celebrities and sages come here in person, all of which are called the land of feng shui. In ancient times, the mountains were lush with green grass, pines and cypresses, exotic flowers in full bloom, and birds and flowers singing. At the beginning of the morning, the rainbow hangs in the air, and at the end of the evening, the mist is misty, the mountain streams are trickling, and the sound of spring is tinkling. It is known as "how many people can be clear in spring only when the golden bell rings in spring". According to the common people, this beautiful and pleasant natural scenery once attracted the first family named Tao. Tao Laohan, the head of the household, is gentle, very kind-hearted, Buddhist, vegetarian, hardworking, simple and hospitable. Since he chose to build a courtyard and house at the foot of Nanshan on the bank of Weihe River, he has received countless tourists and pedestrians for more than a year. Over time, people called him Tao Renshan.

One night, as soon as Man Tao Sr. closed Chai Men and got ready for bed, he heard someone knocking at the door. He hurried to open the door and happily welcomed the guests into the room. Under the lamp, the visitor is a Taoist. Taoist is ugly, short and weak, with ragged clothes, yellow face, long hair and beard, but bright eyes. Holding it in your hand and waving it like a light is particularly conspicuous. Old Man Tao hurried forward to salute and asked about the changes in temperature. The host was very enthusiastic. As soon as he heard that the Taoist priest hadn't eaten, Tao Laohan quickly took out the fungus, mushrooms and mountain vegetables picked in Nanshan, took a pot and cooked them with fire. It didn't take much time, but old Man Tao served hot food, and the soil was not at all polite, and he began to eat angrily.

After a hearty meal, the Taoist priest came to the courtyard and made a detailed introduction. He said slowly to old Man Tao, "This benefactor is kind and kind to people. Poor monks have nothing to send away. I think the screen wall in your yard is very clean. If you don't mind, I'd like to draw a calligraphy and painting on this wall as a souvenir. What do you think of the benefactor? " Tao Laohan couldn't help taking the pen and ink out of the room and giving it to the Taoist priest. I saw the Taoist priest ponder for a moment, then bow to Nanshan, and then draw an outline with a splash of ink. After a while, a vivid picture of a crane appeared on the screen wall. As soon as the Taoist priest finished painting, he jumped into Nanshan in the blink of an eye and said goodbye to old Man Tao. When he stopped, he disappeared without a trace. Old Man Tao hurriedly bowed to the yard and shouted. "The fairy walks slowly, and the fairy walks slowly." All you can hear is the wind in Nanshan and the gurgling river sound. He stood up slowly, hating himself as blind as a bat. He didn't know that the immortal was coming to earth, but only thought about whether he had wronged the man of God. Thinking about it, I suddenly looked up and saw the crane shining on the screen wall. Then, a ray of golden light shot down from the wall and turned into eight cranes with red tops and white jade, dancing and singing in the courtyard. Old Man Tao was so happy that he almost forgot himself. He danced with the crane until dawn, and the crane suddenly flew to the screen. For seven days in a row, the crane came out of the painting, danced in the dark, and the painting fell asleep at dawn, which made old Man Tao happy all day.

After a long time, the anecdote about the dancing of the crane in the painting spread like wildfire, and tourists and pedestrians decided to stay for a few more days. Hundreds of Fiona Fang people are bustling and in an endless stream, all wanting to witness this wonder of the world. Cranes are also really considerate. The more people watch, the more enthusiastic they are, flapping their wings and dancing. Not only do they take pictures at night, but sometimes they fly down from the wall on sunny days. In this way, 49 days later, old Man Tao sat in front of the screen wall, carefully carrying the ocean, and said to himself, "What should I do if the wall cracks and the painting is destroyed over time?" Why don't I build a shed to protect it? "I said wrong, only heard the sound of" squeak "in the wall. In an instant, the city wall was dusty, and eight cranes flew out of the city wall and headed straight for the cliffs of Nanshan. All craned their necks and screamed, and their voices resounded through the mountains. In an instant, thousands of cranes flew from the air to Nanshan, some soaring in the air, some standing upright, some spreading their wings on the mountain, with different shapes. At this time, cranes are constantly on the mountain, and the scenery is specially introduced. Some people say, "Old Man Tao eats fast and does well. He wants to become an immortal. "Some people say:" Nanshan has a good feng shui, so it is necessary to make a noble person. "People from Shannan and Haibei rushed to settle down and build a village here. Over time, it became a market town, and the people named it "Hebi Market Town". This is how the name Hebi Post came into being.
